Hey everyone.

I wanted to introduce myself. Some of you may recognize me, many may not. Allegiance86 is my most common username in video games and I hail from the 12th Fleet.

A little bit about my background, I originally started out in STO with a small contingent of Federation Sim Fleet members. Some of you may know what that is, maybe even participated with them back in the day. For those with no clue who they were/are, Federation Sim Fleet was one of the first Chat Room Groups that formed back in the beginning days of the internet. Trek fans from all over joined FSF and took part in 'simulations' through their AOL Chat Rooms. Playing their favorite types of characters, from nefarious Romulans to tireless Engineers keeping the Warp Engines running. A few of us got together during STOs Beta to form Fleet 354. But because of the poor state of the game at release it wasnt long before many of them went back to their chat room simulations for that much needed Star Trek immersion. Cant really blame them, the game wasnt even close to ready to be released back then.

After Fleet 354 fell apart I went in search of a larger more interactive fleet that wouldnt so easily fall apart. And I eventually found 12th Fleet. I spent the majority of my next 4 years with this fleet off and on. Real life issues, what can you do? I was pretty much a casual member of this fleet for the majority of my time there. And if it hadnt been for my ever changing real life circumstances (military) Id probably have done more to be more active and involved. I hope that now that Im in a more stable situation and joined the UFP. That I might have a better opportunity to participate and volunteer my time.
