    Well I should say hello.

    Unlike every other new poster I am not a refugee from any other fleet, but an actual new player.

    I've started down the route of a Starfleet Engineering officer, whether good or bad choice, its the one I'm going with for now.

    Played a fair bit of Starfleet Command in the past, so I've grasped the idea of sharing the damage across shield arcs. Everything else is a learning curve.

    Good thing you didn't pick Tactical then, as we are known to have short life expectancies.

    Still, it's good to have competent Engineers to fix the stuff we break, there's alot of wear and tear out in the field you know. :icon_twisted:
