    After a nearly sleepless day... my ever so epically retarded SWTOR client refuses to be fixed... it started as code 1003, then code 1005... then finally devolved into an unspecified error... I had scoured the SWTOR forums for an answer nearly turned ze damned thing upside down... restarted, manually and (forced) refreshed my modem router re installed ze game no less than 4 times already... to no avail...

    Have you tried testing your connection? Like going to a ping test site and seeing how your ping and packet lost are doing? You could also try flushing your dns cache in your pc command console and see if that does anything for you.

    Have you tried changing the client from its streaming BS? I had to do this because I hated the streaming client and it fixed a lot of issues.

    well its sorta downloading leik 1.6gig worth of moar stuff, possibly left over from my previous patch attempt... or it might be an entirely new patch download altogether... hopefully the client won't be that retarded after this...

    I feel your pain May mine whould not even patch due to errors so have had to take the game of the HDD for a fresh set up but since am cleaning might as well format the drive and go for Win 10.

    its still there... patching ever so slowly... I've triple checked my speed and connectivity just to make sure... they seem normal... but its still too damn slow... I just hope it won't go bork again... I already lost a little more than a day...

    I have noticed in the two past days I have been expericing an error with loading the launcher. So far i have found that by deleting the bitraider folder and then relaunching the loader gets me back playing after it has verified the data.

    My launcher doesn't like downloading any patches. Try turning your antivirus off, or adding the SWTOR directory to your exceptions list. I use Avast Antivirus for the record.

    They are having Maintenance tomorrow maybe that will fix things because many people are having problems loading. Of course i was lucky today and it worked.
