Over the past week, the Libran Federation has been working on it's first Pyramid stadium, now located in Picon, which is the home of the Libran Wildcats -- made up of the best sportsmen in the Federation, from across all four colonies. Now, with the stadium up and running, and the team assembled it's time to game on.

Practice games have been running within the Libran Federation to prepare it's team for this announcement, but every nation that joins in will have plenty of time to train their team. In the near future, there will be more stadiums popping up within the Federation, to host more teams and an internal championship



The Libran Federation would like to be the first nation to begin a global sports championship, and thus we are calling all nations to join us and sign-up a team to the first championship hosted, hopefully the first of many. The winner of the championship will have the honour of holding the World Cup, that has been specifically designed and created for this tournament, and will thus be able to claim the title of being the first Championship winner.

The opening ceremony will be held within the city of Picon, but the games will be spread out amongst each teams stadium. However, this tournament will not be held unless there are at least four teams who sign-up. Any teams that sign-up will be given the best accommodation available, when they are playing on Libran soil, and I would like to ask anyone who signs up will also provide the same for both the visiting, and home teams.



Any nation within Utopia will be able to sign-up as long as the two pre-requisites are met:

• Have at least one Pyramid stadium within their nation
• Have at least one National team, to represent their nation at the Utopian Pyramid Championship

The championship will be due to start in two weeks time, by which point all nations wanting to participate need to have their teams signed up, and their stadiums built. Good luck, and I look forward to seeing you at the Pyramid Championships!

The people of Caprica welcome this news and congratulate the people of Libran on the completion of their stadium. With Atlas Arena currently under construction, we look forward to engaging in friendly competition with the Libran Wildcats in the near future.

Caprica's home team, the Caprica City Buccaneers (affectionately known as the C-Bucs), eagerly await the upcoming tournament. CAP News is already speculating as to the outcome, with mixed expectations at this early stage. The C-Bucs will no doubt relish the opportunity to test their mettle against the sportsmen and women of a fellow Confederate nation.

The Sovereign Kingdom of New Scotland shall join the Libran Federation in their games, but only if the traditional sporting activities of our sovereign nation are represented and competed in. These include the caber toss, the hammer throw, whisky drinking, and nothing beats a good auld-fashioned tug-o-war.

We congratulate the nations involved with this new activity of bring nations closer together I look forward to watching the games. At this moment we cant find any resources to divert to a stadium perhaps next year good luck to all teams involved.

I am afraid to say that the extent of these games, will be focused on one sport, and one sport only -- Pyramid. I am happy to see more people becoming interested in the games, hopefully we will be able to get enough for a proper tournament.

If however, we do not get enough teams then the tournament, will sadly be cancelled.
