    Hi, I just joined up and am hailing from the Netherlands. I've been a long time Star Trek (and basically all Sci-Fi) fan and for some reason have a love for Romulans. Probably the Warbirds that did it.

    I've played STO on and off for quite some time. Mostly due to friends popping in and out. After quite somet time, I decided I did want to keep playing but to try and find a fleet that will be around for long enough. As I also play SWTOR, UFP seems like a very good fit.

    My very first toon was a science officer, but since the Romulan content I'm focusing my play time on a Romulan Tactical (federation aligned). Well that, and I'm a bit at a loss on how to do my science officer build after a long break. If I find someone in here that can help out, I may well go back to playing that more as I love to be able to play support roles.

    Apart from gaming I also like to game offline, board games and miniature wargames. It's fun to get creative with painting and modelling at times.

    As for books, I do love to read a lot but haven't read many Star Trek novels yet. The last one was Star Trek Destiny: The Complete Sage on my kindle. That was a great read for how so many storylines came together. I'm open to any book suggestions to look into after this one.

    Greetings and welcome to the UFP! We do indeed have members who play STO and/or SWOTOR, so you should fit in gaming wise, for your science build, we do have people who will be able to help you with that, just put the question in the Star Trek Online forum and someone will surly answer it!

    There are also a wide range of other sci-fi discussions going on, feel free to start your own as well if there's a series you want to talk about.
