So i bought the New Mexico Battleship and i took it straight in to battle. Oh my god, this ship sucks!!! It has zero range, very poor accuracy and it seems the guns take an age to change direction. I've added some upgrades and it's still rubbish. I cannot wait to get the Colorado so i can get shot of this pos.
I've also started using Carriers. Grabbed the Langley as something to play when my New Mexico is mid battle. I really like the Carrier map but i don't like the fact that you can only launch one set of planes at a time from each group. Is there some way i can modify what planes are on the deck??? I'd prefer 2 sets of torp planes rather than torps and fighters.
The Whyoming is by far the best Battleship i've used so far.

Is there some way i can modify what planes are on the deck??? I'd prefer 2 sets of torp planes rather than torps and fighters.
You can research upgrades on most carriers that unlock new loadouts for your planes, but you cannot have a custom loadout since everyone would just fill their lineup with torpedo and dive bombers.

I found the NM to be far better than the Colorado the big thing with US ships is how much armor they have and how protected are the vital areas of the ship. Now Japan have good guns but bad protection for example the Fuso also at T6 is a glass cannon has 6 Double 14" Guns but a large and easy Citadel hit area. NM has average guns that might not be nothing special but your harder to sink over that of Japan.
T7 was worse those guns were just as bad not just for the US but for the Nagato both were bad ships the big issue at T7 is not so much both battleships vs each other its at this tier you start getting T8 and 9 matches and those ships are far better so makes your T7 experience suck even more.
My only advice would be when the game starts find a cruiser or two and follow those and act as a support battleship.

Sounds like it needs to be rebalanced, if people skew that far in preference.
