    I'm now at peace with the fact that JJ's interpretation of Star Trek is much more action orientated. I'm confident it'll be an entertaining 2 or so hours.

    It will be entertaining I'm sure if you take it out of the context of Star Trek.

    Go into with the idea that you are going to watch a sci-fi action movie and you will probably enjoy it.

    Again, it'll be a great -action- flick. I just wish that JJ & crew had got down to more basic levels overall... *shrugs* Maybe the incoming show will let us see that side of Star Trek again.

    I absolutely loved Star Trek in 2009 despite the fact it was a massive departure from the established Star Trek universe.

    I really enjoyed Star Trek Into Darkness despite it's obvious flaws.

    This new trailer looks like Star Trek: Fast and Furious. That's not a good thing. Hopefully future trailers and the movie itself end up being far better than my initial impressions are...

    I had high hopes for this. Was waiting for a good Star Trek movie to surprise the hell out of us.
