Hey everybody!

has anyone else got Star Trek Tinelines? And if so has anyone created a fleet?

would be great to have a UFP presence on the newest Star Trek game! I love it!

I have tried it, not overly impressed with it, not my kind of game, but when I reach the level for fleets, I will create a UFP one and those who play can join!

We now have a fleet, just search for UFPlanets and join!

I have made a fleet in Timelines, it's called UFPlanets

Just search for that and join

I love how the tagline is that you can recruit your favourite characters from across the series', but then I'm left with a crew of Wesley, Kai Winn, Neelix, and some Kazon...

I figure the developers must have had a VERY different Star Trek experience then I did...

It's just down to luck the people you get, whilst I hate using Wesley he is a great character, so just bide your time and things will be ok. I just make sure that the victory conditions I go for a character I want, rather than the conversation options I would actually choose.

I'm currently using Sisko - J Dax - Polaski but I can't get a better ship 😒

Yeah, getting a better ship takes far too long, thankfully I am quite close to getting a new ship, it'll just take a little longer. I haven't really got a set crew, but my most used characters are Picard, Janeway, Rifle Janeway, Smiley, J. Dax, and Worf - I love having a massive selection, can actually use the crew members I want and have the crew I have always wanted.

I do enjoy it overall

For the record, throwing money at the game doesn't help all that much. With Dilithium in the time portal you get 3 or 4 star characters (and the occasional rare 5-star), but while their base stats are higher, it's only enough to get them through the first or second episode. You still need to grind the equipment to Advance and raise their levels. A level 30 Blue (3-star) is much better than a level 10 Gold (5-star), while being much easier to equip.

Hmmm, thats good information to have ahead of time as the perception I get from it is that it suddenly becomes easy street.

I'm not terribly worried about it either way, it's a fun little diversion when I'm stuck waiting.

I got a 3 star purple Janeway which is pretty nifty! Sisko is great at the min he's my favourite by far

I played this game the last few days and I got to episode 2 and I just can't do anything. I can't get equipment or complete missions. I suppose, as suggested above, I need to grind prior missions and advance my peeps. I was rockin' with Picard and Warf until I hit the wall.

When I hit Fleet level I'll join you guys.

It's totally all about grinding. I threw some money into the game, and it punted me past episode 2 just by having higher base stats, but all my level 10 guys are worthless midway through episode 3, regardless of stats.

It's less the stars of the characters and more their levels, which is from grinding older equipment - and the higher star characters actually have more difficult to acquire equipment!
