RED VS BLUE TOURNAMENT

Greetings one and all,

Starfleet Operations, the House of Kular and the Elite Strike Force are proud to present the first annual PvP tournament of 2016

The aim of this PvP Tournament will be to team up two players together after a qualification round, allowing them to share tips with each other and possibly learn new skills. There will be tournament rules to ensure that there is still an element of fun as well as competition.

The result of the qualification game will determine who gets paired with who, the highest performing player (highest damage+healing) would be teamed with the lowest performing player (lowest damage+healing).

Prizes:

1st: Fleet Ship Module/Ship Upgrade Token and a Promo R&D pack
2nd: 5 Master Keys Each
3rd: Tholian Mesh Weaver Escort Each + 5 Phased Tetryon Weapons Pack/Omni-Directional Tetryon Arrays Each + Sticky Web Console Each
4th: Winter Item of choice(Jacket, Scarf, Hat)

Rules:

Qualification Round Rules:

• No Siphon drones, Danube, Yellowstone or Elite Orion Interceptors.
• No Boarding Parties/Marauding Force pets.
• No Dkora EMP burst.
• No Kemocite
• No Plasma Consoles
• No Neutronic Torpedo
• No Intel Abilities (Dauntless,MatHa etc)
• No scramble sensors with the DOFFs (Without DOFFs no issue).
• No Graviton Pulse Generator.
• No Temporal Inversion.
• TeamSpeak is a must.

2v2 Round Rules:

• No Hangers
• No Dedicated Healer
• No Dkora EMP burst.
• No Kemocite
• No Plasma Consoles
• No Neutronic Torpedo
• No Intel Abilities (Dauntless,MatHa etc)
• No scramble sensors with the DOFFs (Without DOFFs no issue).
• No Graviton Pulse Generator.
• No Temporal Inversion.
• Only 1 Sci/Tac/Eng ship and career per team - The combination your run from Round 1 will be your team set up.
• No bomber builds - ships that can fire while cloaked, this is no fun in a 2v2 match up.
• 15 minute time limit for each round, highest score wins, in the event of a tie, sudden death rule.
• TeamSpeak is a must.

This will be starting qualifying on or about the 22nd February 2016, with the aim of completing all contests by 26th March 2016.

Not sure I'll join yet, but I have two questions.

No hangers. This means no launching of hangar bays?

No D'Kora EMP Burst. But can you still use the console to get the battle mode and set bonus if you want?

Anything goes really, with the noted exceptions incorporated into tournament rules of course ☺

No Intel abilities...is it okay to still use Pilot or Command? With teamspeak being a must, do I need a mic? I'm currently in between mics...I plan to get a new one soon but may not have one soon soon.

To answer outstanding questions that I missed:

1. No hangars means no hangar pets at all.
2. No D'Kora EMP Burst means you can't use the ability. The console is fine.
3. Specialisations are fine, its Intel Powers you can't use. At the moment, Command & Pilot powers are fine. This may be reviewed.
