Seems fine to me as far as I can tell.
On another note, Dailies won't be fixed until Tuesday patch (link: to reddit topic https://www.reddit.com/r/thedivision...es_today_also/) (announced on Division Twitter)

I was wondering why the dailies haven't reset for two days, thinking it was a bug. It seems it was "working as planned."
Anyway, that gave me some time to farm Police Academy for loot. I got two yellow drops yesterday, a Military M60 and a vest. I'm planning to run it again before the patch.

So from what I read on reddit challenge bosses are dropping like 4 x HE items at lvl 31 post update and hard gives lvl 30 HE.
Farming time? Get the tractor!
Edit: there's a loot table for some stuff up on reddit too to consult for specific pieces. I foresee a long road for me to get anywhere near good gearing [emoji20]

Fresh off an Incursion run, and I can tell you, it is punishing for groups that do not communicate and work together well. Also, a heads up that all the stuff that used to be sold in the DZ06 Safehouse has now been moved to the Base of Operations Phoenix Vendor, and they have been replaced by set pieces and set piece blueprints, which require DZ Rank 50 to purchase.

Good to know. I've been running hards to at least bring myself up to HE level 30 (163) gear level, still 3 pieces off that yet and trying to balance my stats out is suboptimal atm.
Thinking I might try picking up some challenging missions in support role to see if i can gear a bit better.
I have a couple of question for all you better geared lads;
1. I've got a few (200+) Phoenix creds to hand but am finding there's way too much choice in terms of what to use em on and I'm going to bob along on the dailies/weekly as much as I can to up it.
I tend to use Assault rifle or marksman primary (both still purple 30 = 131) and SMG (HE 30 = 163 but not perfect) and my chest and holster are still 131s.
So where should I invest first?
2. What base stats balance have you guys gone for?
I'm pretty sure my Stamina (and therefore HP - 50k) is way too low atm but feel I'm ok (not good) with straight up DPS and skill power to weight it too heavily to stamina if I'm going to run solo often. Am finding I'm a bit squishy as a result. Armor is about 42% reduction which is low too yes?
Do I simply need to do better on the general gearing front or up the priority on survival a bit.
I'm hoping my higher skill power might help if I run groups as I can switch to heal/CC to support DPS if needed.
Any thoughts/advice would be great as my brain seems to have taken leave recently.
Dan

Not sure if you've done the Hard missions after the latest patch, but the bosses now are guaranteed to drop ilvl 163 weapons and gear, so it should be easier to gear up now, especially if you run in a group.
I would say focus on using the Phoenix credits to get blueprints for things that are more generally applicable, like weapon/item mods (or the Vector if you don't have that yet). As aforementioned, HE weapons/gear are much easier to get now, but Prototype-level mods are much harder to obtain outside of crafting, and the larger stat boost they give can be all the difference you need to unlock a trait on your weapon.
As a general rule, the two stats I generally go for are Firearms and Stamina, as the utility they provide (Weapon Damage and Health) are not dependent on how fast my skills cool down. I main-stat into Firearms, meaning that all my gear pieces are based in that stat, while boosting my Stamina as much as possible through gear mods. My reasoning is that the enemy does a grand total of zero DPS if they're dead, and the more I can minimise the time I spend exposed, out of cover and shooting back, the better for my well-being. That being said, I also try to maintain enough Electronics skill to unlock the traits on my weapons. While I don't expect everyone to want to maximise their damage output, I think that I would still generally recommend the main-stat/secondary-stat-with-mods approach, especially as you unlock more gear mod slots, as this allows a degree of flexibility that does not involve constantly re-rolling your gear attributes.
I hope this provides you with some insight.

Thanks dude. I watched some videos last night too which said similar things.
I probably need to rebalance for solo to more stamina/firearms but I might keep some of my electronics gear to play with every so often.
Am thinking Vector or MP5 for my SMG when I decide which I prefer.
Going to look into Black Market AK vs Liberator a bit more too for AR.
Finally I'll pick up a solid DMR.
Think I'm just going to have to mission grind and sprinkle in DZ every so often to keep it fresh.
Much to be done.......

EDIT: I gotta a handle on it now, changed out my build a bit for something a bit more tanky for solo play and upped my HP a bit and just minced a few DZ bosses and got the loot out, think a push to improve the bits I need now will see me good.
Think I was expecting a bit much from myself, should just be happy having fun and slowly accumulating things, think it helps i've got a plan in mind now

So, quick note: if you're looking to group up with someone and they're in the Dark Zone, kindly send a message indicating that you are going to join their group. This is because new players joining Dark Zone groups will trigger a server transfer, and this more than likely will result in NPC enemies respawning around the person currently in the Dark Zone.

From the start, I try to have the firearms, stamina, and electronics stats about the same to each other. I was going for a balanced setup to adapt to almost any situation.
Weapon talents like the ones that deal increased damage to elites and armor are usually what I look for in addition to higher damage per shot. I also started looking for talents with bleed or blinded effects as well.
For gear, I prefer increased ammo capacity and scavenging. The scavenging bonus seemed useful as I managed to pick up yellow gear/weapons before the 1.1 update. I'm not sure how useful it is now considering the named enemies are guaranteed to drop yellow loot.
My weapons/gear setup are subject to change however as there are so many possible variants of weapon talents and gear bonuses, which I think can be a good thing because it keeps your character from getting stagnant.

Also good advice, thanks.
I've revamped a little bit and am way happier atm. Sitting on 65k health now has definitely improved things. Have also reworked my skills and talents to a more tank setup at the cost of a little electronics. Seems to work better for me. Still got my electronics gear in case I decide to build out with it again.
Also improved my gear mods a bit and had a lucky drop of a new secondary. Got a M60 LMG which has replaced my lower grade AR. It has ok damage but I really lucked out on weapons talents with Destructive (armor dam), Brutal (headshot dam) and Unforgiving ( Inc damage with health loss).
Been using it on Hards and with good fire discipline it eats through bosses armor and into the health easily with 1 extended mag.
Am still not amazing but I'm looking in better shape and can work with what I got to improve now.
Also managed to dodge a 3 man gank squad in DZ 01 of all places earlier. Winning!

Just did my first challenge map. Was awesome even in a silent matchmaker group. Cleared lex. I got downed once right at end being silly but less than better GS guys in my team.
Muchly satisfied
Edit - and the 182 drop replaced my last purple (chest) to the betterment of both my GS and my build type
