Problems connecting to server

In RPG-X I encountered problem that reads: Read Past of Server End, PLease help i have a in game training session coming up.

Do you know what map the server was running at the time?

can you try 1 more time?

and once it fails type in console /condump log.txt

Hopefully it will save a dump of any other errors....
Upload/attach if it does save the condump....

(usually C:\Program Files (x86)\Raven\Star Trek Voyager Elite Force\ )

Are you trying to connect through the server list or manually (i.e. /connect <server IP>)?

i get the same issue now... grrrr... i deleted some things from the stvef folder
now i cant reinstall

Alright, my fix was the following.

step 1: Backup your baseEF folder.... delete any .cfg files inside. (put it in /ravens/ folder next to the star trek voyager elite force folder)
step 2: Un-install Elite Force.
step 3: restart pc (hard to explain but sometimes ef has issues re-installing on vista and win 7 without a reboot)
step 4: Install EF
Step 5: Copy the old baseEF into the EF folder!
Step 6: UPDATE to 1.2!
(optinal step): Run the game, goto configure (options) and video. on the left click the button that shows driver details!

If the driver provider says Microsoft, you might experience alternate issues.

Step 7: Install ioEF <---- link

let me know if problem still exists.

I suggest you install IOCOW. it is more advanced version of IOEF but, you will not get the 'read past end of server message'
