    The script being.....'Too Star Trek'? THE EFF IS THAT S***?!!?!?!?!?!? THIS IS STAR TREK!!!! Also, High command of the Federation seems like just the president of the Fed.

    Either way, If a reshoot is going down, It'll be likely that this will be pushed back to AT LEAST christmas this year.

    A lot of the second Hobbit movie was filmed as pick ups and re-shoots just a couple of months before delivery. This doesn't worry me. The fact that they're wrecking the Enterprise again does.

    I find myself becoming less and less interested in this movie. While I love Trek, these movies have always felt pretty hollow.

    And now with the new series looking more and more like it will take place in the prime universe, they could cancel these JJ treks for all I care.

    IF they push the date back then that will likely result in a delay to the new Star Trek series since an agreement exists between CBS and Paramount requiring a 6 month break so as to not cause confusion as to whose Star Trek you are watching.

    Yeah. That whole "first script was thrown out by Paramount for being "Too Star Trek" just killed any hope i had for this film. Goes to show that this film could be Fast & Furious in space and Paramount would be more then happy ending up with that outcome.

    The first script was "too Star Trek"?! Whiskey Tango Hotel?! Confused

    I suppose it's nice to see Tali Zorah's mother as "High Command of the Federation"

    I rarely find good stories in TV and films these days. Times have certainly changed when video games have better stories than TV or film. That to me indicates something is seriously wrong in the entertainment industry. :/
