    I would say it went back to Plexicorp when Sulu was done unloading the panels.

    As far as the actual one, i am sure the movie studio rented it. You'd probably have to ask Cliff Fleming to be sure.

    I agree with Keenan that it most likely just went back.

    As far as Plexicorp were concerned the panels were obtained legitimately by Scotty and McCoy (even if they did misrepresent who they were), it's unlikely they would go to such lengths to obtain the panels legitimately but then risk blowing their covers by stealing a helicopter just to move the panels they had obtained.
