Considering interest for Overwatch, is anyone playing it willing to organize community activities (scheduled or ad-hoc events)?

Could be given a go, but you'd have to know who is playing on what platform, since I don't think everyone is on PC.

Also talking of Overwatch, at ComicCon this weekend, a lot of Overwatch cosplay, mostly D.Va, as well as a lot of D.Va merchandise being the most popular being sold! Did get myself a t-shirt and poster with D.Va on though! Would have gotten a mug, but I have enough of those to open my own cafe already.

Had a wee blast on Overwatch this morning, really enjoying it and regretting not getting it at release now.

I'm pretty rusty though - I've had some success with Bastion, but I'm worse than useless with Mei, not too bad with Widowmaker.

A good rule of thumb with Bastion is always have a friend. Reinhardt or Orisa can keep you safe whilst you happily meatgrind the enemy team... just protect that glowing butt of yours too. Setting up in corners is always an advantage!

...not that I, uh, play too much Bastion or anything. Nope.

I've wondered, before buying I've always noticed that D.va is extremely popular, do you know the reason for this?

She's pretty and cute, also plays video games, so those all probably count as to why she is so popular!

I have enjoyed it since day one but I didn't get hyped for it until right around its release. I've enjoyed it a lot but I feel especially in last 6 months the toxicity levels

I can't help but wonder this myself. At least for new players. Perhaps it that she doesn't die until shes in her human state. Shes useful in many situations but not all.

I find people play D.Va including myself because first she's in a Mech, come one what's cooler than that. Second, she does not run out of ammo or really require precise aiming. The Mech provides armor and also a pretty good ultimate if you place and time it right. And when the Mech runs out of armor you jump out and are still able to provide some good offense. She's cute too but then I prefer Mercy

I've only played D.Va once, but out of all the characters, she looks like a good place to find your feet and get a feel for the game. Tracer is pretty good too, though manoeuvring her can take a bit of getting used to.

The one character that I've tried so far that I just don't seem to be able to get along with is Winston, the range on his gun just feels so short.

I like Killing D.Va with Mei by walling off her escape, freezing her mech till it blows up then Freezing Her then head shotting her... very enjoyable

She melts a bit quick when introduced to a minigun. :p She's massive fun, though.
