Not sure where to post this, so I chose here 
With the upcoming expansion on my favorite era of Star Trek, I am gathering resources and preparing to make my new character.
Reading the guidelines, I would like to use a canon ship name and pick one not currently used by one of our own.
Can anyone tell me if any of the following are already in used by a fleet mate?
1. USS Defiant NCC-1764
2. USS Exeter NCC-1672
3. USS Hood NCC-1703
4. USS Bozeman NCC-1941
Also, with the TOS expansion coming out, will we be allowed to use the TOS uniforms in our signatures?

There are certain names the game doesn't allow you to use, unless there has been a change to that, also I don't think it allows the shorter registration numbers. I think Exeter, Hood and maybe Bozeman are allowed, the first two we have plenty of ships with that name, if I recall!

I heard for TOS that you will be allowed to use 4 digit registry numbers. I figured Defiant would already be in use, but worth a shot. From a forum signature point of view, I dont want to steel anyone else's ship name.

Out of those 4 options I would recommend USS Bozeman NCC-1941 if your main aim was to have a canon ship name that is likely to be allowed in STO and is least likely to clash with others.
A few other possibilities could be:
USS Farragut NCC-1647
USS Potemkin NCC-1657
USS Pegasus NCC-1702
USS Lexington NCC-1709
USS Yorktown NCC-1717
