    As of right now I only use the chatbox to talk to other ufp members (Because I don't have a good/any mic), but I am aware that that teamspeak also has text chat. Would it be odd if I was only use that?

    Nope, a few members hang out just in text chat and if you want to attend events on TeamSpeak, you don't need a mic most of the time Smile

    It's not strange at all. My Microphone stopped working a couple of months ago, until I get a new one I'll just be typing. You're still able to participate just fine!

    It would not be weird and would be perfectly fine.

    Sometimes text chat can be a bit easier if the channel room is crowded with a few people talking already.

    In fact, in my Black Desert Online guild, we have a person who does exactly that. I think the biggest thing is being able to listen/hear.

    Nope! Not weird at all! I tend to stick around text chat, but that's mainly because I'm usually running around doing other things and listening to music. Personally, I think you should do what you feel most comfortable with.

    I very much doubt anyone is seriously going to vote that it would be weird. Whilst TeamSpeak is generally seen as something you use for voice chat it does have text chat built in and for a very good reason, some people aren't comfortable using a microphone or don't use one, for others it isn't appropriate for them to use one or they may simply just not want to talk.

    We use TeamSpeak to help enable fun experiences and to aid in socialising, how community members want to use it is entirely up to them (obviously so long as they follow the rules).
