Greetings,

I would like to put this question out there to the wider community with a poll, to see what the current rate of growth would be and if you could reply to say which consoles you will be playing on, that'd be great!

Seeing as it is most likely that they won't transfer stuff over to the consoles, i'll be sticking to the pc. Too much time and lots of effort to let go of.

(I also may not own either of the consoles, so there's that)

I will download it on either one or both the XB1 and PS4 to test them out and see how they play, after that I'll probably dabble in it occasionaly but for the most part PC will be my main STO version

I'm staying on PC. STO is way too grindy to be started all over again for my tastes anyway.

I most certainly will be playing on Xbox One! Dependant on what it's like, I may continue playing it on there too! Hopefully, purchases already made will be accessible on the console version, otherwise that may deter me.

PS4 but PC will stay as my main(to much stuff to repurchase if all Zen store items don't transfer over), I'll download, mess around with it for a little while, maybe play it from time to time when I want to play sitting on the sofa rather than in front of the PC.

It depends if they let you transfer your purchases over. ESPECIALLY my Lifetime Sub, though. If they don't allow that, then no, I won't play on console.

Could care less about transferring/copying characters.

This may have already been answered in a previous post that I may have missed but... Why is everyone simply assuming that everything won't simply transfer over? During the announcement and article I read it simply as "We're now allowing for console play meaning you can play with characters you have already established."

Was this assumption incorrect?

If you're playing on xbox you won't be able to play with people on PS4. So, i don't get how transferring your toon from PC is possible. other games like STO that made the transition from PC to console wouldn't allow you to use your old characters. One of them is DC Online which you can play on PS3/PS4. they kept the console universe and the PC universe completely separate. You had to make a new character based on your PS4 Profile associated with your email address you use when you play on PS Plus. Also, they didn't have a life time subscription option for DC online via console.
