With the new skill tree space power creep and no real challenging maps, it would appear there is nothing for them to do. From what I hear though the ground game is still challenging like NSDT and Hive Elite, wouldn't mind getting some help going through those.

Ross: The game has become "more accessible" and has certainly lost the difficulty factor. The ground game is still great fun. Join us for the ESF and ESF-sponsored events and we will happily help you through them.

Britsurfer: Agrees with Ross' comments, the game is too easy and has become boring, we just hope they fix the game!

I'm not in the ESF but one day I will, hopefully.

For the exception of a few members this division is dead and needs either to be disassembled or a new leadership.

ESF has declined a lot as a division. Management team is virtually non existent and ingame involvement is extremely limited. I accept that STO sucks a lot now but to just hand in the towel and walk away doesn't strike me as the UFP way.

Ross: Unfortunately, my in-game involvement is dictated by RL and that has been busy as of late. I am a lot more active now. As far as ESF declining, our mandate is to help new players with endgame content and I think we have been doing a great job. We continue to host events in-game, multiple STF guides have been posted, Bridger maintains his build discussion every Saturday and ESF members always make themselves available to help other community members. If you have a specific grievance, please reach out to me directly or contact FEO. We will gladly address it.

Do the CO and XO actually play STO? I mean outside of their club only events, It used to be run great but it has just gone downhill with this division shame to see it fail after what has been done before

Ross: The CO and XO actually do play STO! We would certainly like to improve. All ideas and suggestions are welcome!

I guess I should spend a little more time with these surveys, but obviously had no comment for this past one. I will correct that and comment now on ESF.

"While I cannot comment on ESF internally since I am not a part of the group, I can say their interaction with the community, along with the House of Kular and others, via in-game scheduled events gives players something to look forward to several times each week. Most are run very casually (which probably causes severe spasms in hard-core players) and revolve around what the group as a whole want to do. As far as regularly scheduled in-game events, I believe this may be the most active the group has been. What at times has been considered an elitist group is now very approachable and I would like to personally commend them for the work they do."

At the risk of a "me too" post, I have to agree with Stormy. Well, without the longer term perspective. I've found the HoK and ESF sponsored events to be very open and supportive.

I haven't been on much over the past few months, so I can't really comment on the quality of interactions during that time.

However, having served alongside these fine gents and having spent many an hour gaming I can say they are great folks to run with and are very approachable. Just because they may not be in your timezone doesn't mean they are not available! If you have questions, comments, or concerns, message them through the forum if need be! A little communication back and forth goes a long way!
