Ok community, JJ-verse has had its fun and Discovery is coming out to reshape the future if Star Trek as we know it, but we all know deep down we all one one big final blowout to celebrate what made Star Trek great which is TNG/DS9/VOY and we want one big film including all 3 casts centred on one storyline not about Time Travel (for the millionth time) whilst the actors are young enough to make the big film they all dreamed of! Seeing the Enterprise - E, Voyager and the Defiant on the same screen possibly surrounding Deep Space 9 and the USS Titan would be mind lovingly awesome, possibly even centered around the prophets and Siskos return? The ideas are already juicing in my brain!
Before I get too excited, the reason I post is to form a possible campaign + fundraising page fronted by UFP to make this dream we all share happen, we have thousands of members and a concerted effort could certainly attract some attention!
So I suppose the question is.... Who's Game for trying?
I await your thoughts. Remember Spock said everything is done for the needs of the many LLAP

Even though this would be mind blowingly 'epic' as the cool kids use these days, and while I definitely admire and appreciate your enthusiasm. I don't think this would be very successful, all the attention right now is focused on Star Trek: Beyond. I'm not exactly sure how much attention we could possibly get, this community is awesome but I don't really think this has a chance of happening. This probably isn't the response that you expected but I just don't really see this happening. There has be so many people that have petitioned, online and started all sorts of groups to try and get this huge film with all of the major prime time characters.

I take it ST: Destiny is the new JJ Star Trek 4 based on George Kirk? Or barking up the wrong tree?
And if so yes I can see your point, it would be arduous but nothing worth doing is ever going to be easy! All big ideas come from small places :-)

Oops, my bad! I was thinking about something else.

As interesting as something like this could be I can't see it happening, I think the number of challenges that would be faced would be seen as too numerous to overcome.
You would be looking at probably the largest ensemble cast ever which would cause many headaches, then with all the rights issues around CBS owning the shows and Paramount owning the movies, combined with the fact that they each have their own Star Trek properties they are currently working on.
It's definitely a cool idea but CBS and Paramount have a hard enough time arguing over which Captain Kirk gets put on a t-shirt, this I think would be far too much for them.
Does sound like a great idea for a future short story competition, a crossover featuring crew members from different shows.

Well the TNG cast has already been in four movies and as much as I would like to see them in it again, I don't see it happening. Now I would love to see a DS9 movie, but that also will probably not happen either. Paramount is committed to focusing on the JJ verse and continuing on with that.

Yeah it's hard to acknowledge how they can abandon prime universe movies but JJ-verse does seem to be their agenda.... Wouldn't stop a one off 3 or 4 part mini-series or TV Movie though would it???
