Thank you to Command for having me. Today was my first full day and it was an absolute pleasure to have been involved in today's event. I had an blast.
Well, a little about me. Am a veteran of the U.S. Army 10th Supply and Transport Battalion, Delta Company, 10th Mountain Division out of Fort Drum, NY. I was a truck driver. Sorry it wasn't anything glorious, but it was the 2nd best time of my life. After a few years, once out of the Army, I settled down and became a Police Officer. I have had the honor of being a Sheriff's Deputy and a two time Chief of Police before having to retire and, with my brother, become a caregiver to my Uncle (who passed from cancer), my grandmother and the wonderful woman who brought me into this world, my mother. Health issue with my heart, Diabetes Type 2 and other stuff had sidelined me from ever being in Law Enforcement again. But I would not change a thing over those 11 years.
Now, I do what I need to for family, game, finally got my BA in Criminal Justice and take life one day at a time. Some things I am very passionate about, but overall, I am pretty laid back and sometimes goofy. My nickname from other gaming friends is RabidMissouriSquirrel. Hence the avatar.
I really look forward to taking my fondness of STO to the top and am honored to have the opportunity to do so with the UFP.
That being said.........Take us out. Let's see what kind of cool stuff we can find.
