• Each time a player buys a Tier 5 ship, they will receive a free ship upgrade token.
  
  • This only occurs when the Tier 5 ship is bought for the first time on an account.

  • When the player clicks claim, they will receive a bound to account ship upgrade token in their inventory and the product will disappear from the promotions tab.
  • These tokens stack so if a player buys 3 Tier 5 ships at once, they will be able to claim the promotion 3 times.

Curse you temptation! Why must you gnaw at my wallet so?

This seems like a good opportunity to ask something - if I were to look at buying a T6 ship (beamboat), what should I go for? I'd want a pure Fed ship, but there seem to be a lot of types and versions and I've no idea what the difference between them all is.

The new Ouroboros Temporal Raider or the Theseus Temporal Escort are good choices.

The Ouroboros has battle cloak and Raider Flanking, and its Console (Tactical System Stabilizer) cuts your Boffs skill recharge by -5% every 3sec for 30sec as well as gives 30% weapon cycle haste for energy Weapons for 30sec. It also has full universal Boff stations. It's Trait is OK (Using Attack Patterns decreases cooldowns on Engineering and Temporal abilities), but if you want to use the new Temporal Abilities, you need to forgo attack patterns...

I would recommend using the following for that ship:

Cmdr Uni/Temp: TT1 - Rapid Decay 1 (Temporal) - BFAW III - Timeline Collapse II or III what ever you have access to
LTC Uni: EPTW I - EPTS II - EngT III
LTC Uni: HE I - SciT II - Grav Well I
LT Uni: TT I - BFAW II

Rapid Decay, Timeline Collapse and Gravity Well don't share a cooldown, you can apply all 3 at the same time for massive damage. Timeline Collapse and Gravity Well are both similar Abilities, so it pulls all ships in for your BFAW.

The Theseus is another great choice. It's console (Timestream Rift Warhead) is loads of fun to use with the new Temporal Abilities, as it first deals AOE physical damage in an explosion that ignores shields, then creates a gravity well like rift. Pair it up with Rapid Decay, Timeline Collapse, Gravity Well and BFAW and you have a good combo. It's trait (Moderate Hull and Sheild Heal boost to all allies in 5km when a target affected by Focused Assault dies) is situational and lackluster.

Boff Slots I recommend:

Uni LTC: KLW I - BFAW II - BFAW III
Tac CMDR: TT I - (Attack Pattern of your choice) - Rapid Decay II - Timeline Collapse II or III
Tac ENS: TT I
Eng LT: EPTS I - EngT II
Sci LTC: HE I - SciT II - Grav Well I

With both ships I would recommend changing your skills to give exotic damage abilities a boost (Exotic Particle Generator)
