    Hi all,

    I have a plethora of ships available for my use, which I have collected throughout my time playing the game, and having seen the game move from T5 to T6 with the middle ground being T5U are these upgraded T5 ships still worth playing?

    I'll add in here that I am a Tac captain who favours cruisers, but all views/opinions are welcome Smile

    T5-U is 12 BOff abilities, 11 console slots.
    T6 is 13 BOff abilities, 10 console slots.
    T6 Fleet is 13 BOff abilities, 11 console slots.

    Generally the significance will depend on build - a T5-U with a great layout can outperform a T6 with a poor layout.

    For ships with a more or less linear upgrade path, the T6 versions will obviously be strictly superior (such as a T6 Scimitar vs a T5-U Scimitar).

    In general, I think it's the lockbox/lobi ships where there's no T6 version (+1 BOff ability) of the T5 layout.
