T6 Valiant problems/recommendations

So I have the t6 Valiant. Really love the defiant class ships, my favorite. However it seems the consoles are limited and officer abilities are as well. Have a good weapons setup but now Im running into problems with power allocation. Weapons go offline half of the time when I fire. Should i switch ships or is there something I'm missing? What should I switch to? I like the ability to fly in deal damage and fly back out for another run. If I give up maneuverability I'd like the extra firepower. I have the Kelvin dreadnaught but I find it lacking on the tactical end of things. Help

Can you post a skill planner link with your load out? Your weapons shouldn't go offline, I've used that as a beam boat, and have no issues.

Sounds like you are getting heavily debuffed.

This is the skill tree I would use on a defiant, the use of the sci ultimate's is the current meta,

With this skill tree you are heavily affected by any kind of debuff, when I am back home I will link you one that should solve your problem.

Thanks Ill give it a try. I tried adding the weapons and equipment on the ship but when i search for them half of them arent on there
