    DS9 for me, followed by VOY, TNG, ENT and last TOS. While TOS got things started, I wasn't around yet and TNG was the first trek I was exposed to. So then seeing TOS later on it just looks so silly and dated. Still entertaining though.

    In listing mine I think there are two things I need to state up front:
    1. I am one of the more senior members of the fleet (in age-not rank or time in fleet).
    2. I do not count special effects, sets, etc. Each used the best available at the time.

    That being said, I rank them in this order:
    1. TOS
    2. ENT
    3. TNG
    4. VOY
    5. DS9

    TNG comes top for me, separated by less than a hair from DS9. Then TOS, VOY and ENT in dead last.

    TNG represents the best of Star Trek's premise and ideals. DS9 shows the amazing stories that can be told when this premise is challenged, without compromising that vision.

    TOS has some great stories and good character dynamics, but also a lot of awful stories and I find Shatner difficult to watch (in Trek or otherwise!). VOY had a great premise, but squandered it. Plus, a huge amount of their research on societies and science was downright awful. And there's that magic reset button they so loved...

    I didn't find any of the characters in ENT compelling at all, or most of the stories (S3 in particular). Too many situations they ended up fighting their way out of rather than attempting any real conflict resolution. Not my cup of tea.

    Hopefully DIS will rank highly!

    I enjoyed the TOS reruns when the movies came out. Then the Next Generations was live and watched that enthusiastically. DS9 had a slow start, but got quite interesting during the Dominion war. Voyager had its moments, though strange that Ensign Kim never got a promotions after saving their bacon a few times. Enterprise had a bad time slot for me, so was never able to give that a chance (I did like Scott Bakula in Quantum Leap and now in NCIS New Orleans). So if I had to rank them it would be:
