So I made it to T5. I will probably hunker down and buy a ship, like the Vesta. What should me focus be now other than XP to get to T6? TFs? Gear farming? Etc? Do we have a guide available for officers who want to play at this level?

If you're going to buy a good well rounded ship, the Pathfinder is a good choice. The T6 trait is a lifesaver, I make a point to get the trait on all my characters.

As for the Vesta, its a good ship, but I suggest getting the Vesta 3 Pack and flying the Reconnaissance variant, with its 4 tac consoles, 2 eng consoles and 4 science consoles (5 with the T5-U).

The console set has some good abilities for offence and survivability (The Multidimensional Wave-Function Analysis Module is great for allowing you to quickly repair yourself as well as making using ramming speed viable in a pinch, since it prevents all damage to the hull.).

I'm currently having a redonkulous amount of fun with the T6 Temporal Multi-Mission science vessel, the Temporal Agent boff abilities are awesome and work really well with science based load outs.

A really decent science vessel there and it can put out a decent amount of damage, even with it's low amount of tactical options.

If you want something a bit tankier though and would like more intel option can I suggest the Scryer intel vessel? Not the best looker admittedly but probably one of the best Fed sci ships there is. I loved mine and found it much more to my liking than the Pathfinder over time.

But both are very good ships.

I have my Pathfinder now, and I really like her! I looked at the Scryer, but wasnt sure about it. I'll have to look into it another time. For now, the Pathfinder is kicking butt and taking names.
