    Hello everyone,

    i mainly play my mainchar which is a very diverse FED Tactical officer. it flies Enegry/Torpedo/Hybrid builds aswell as Drain and Exotic damage builds. I like tanking with it but also being an offensive glass cannon.

    What do you think would be the best space specialization combination that would fit for all of those builds? I really dont want to switch my specializations whenever i switch my ship so any advice is appreciated.

    I personally can't get out of Pilot as a Secondary, regardless of what I'm flying. A turn rate increase and temp HP from Attack Patterns are too nice for me to give up.

    I've heard Temporal (which has benefits when you slap a DoT on things) work well with Exotic/Drain, but I'm not familiar with it.

    I'd say try out Intel/pilot or Intel/temp agent. But as Dark said I would agree with I'd miss the benefits from pilot spec with turn rate/hp from attack patterns.

    Maybe you dont struggle with turn rate or staying alive. Definitely try out Intel/temp agent. Intel allows you to have shield pen. Another option is Command but a lot of people dislike it (dont know why) but it goes with torps.

    The benefit to have all your abilities on minimum cooldown is way better than anything the other spec can provide so Temp/Strat is the current meta of this game.

    The benefit to have all your abilities on minimum cooldown is way better than anything the other spec can provide so Temp/Strat is the current meta of this game.
    Seems overkill with so much giving reduce cooldown. Even from rep passives give bonuses to this haha.

    All my abilities are already on minimum cooldowns. At least the ones I should care about, I don't know if shaving 1-2 seconds off the third part of my attack rotation is worth switching away from space flanking and turn rate (in my space whale).

    thank you for the replies so far.
    i have all my skills on global cooldown aswell (reciprocity, ahod, peak efficiency, 1 tech krenim boff + bio neural gelpack).
    therefore i do not really need temp/strat for the reductions. going the intel/pilot route again could be the best path then, eh?

    The reason to use Temp/Spec is to be able to slot dps buffing traits, also following the current meta is to use exotic damage abilities like Feedback Pulse or Tractor Beam Repulsors to trigger a haste buff for your weapons.

    I was playing around a little with both combos (intel/pilot -temp/spec) and temp/spec felt a bit less quishy. intel/pilot on the other hand felt more maneuverable. Not sure if really do benefit from the cooldowns from temp/spec (see post above). The damage itself seems to be pretty much the same.

    Anyway. Thank you for the input so far. I am going to test a bit more.
