I might be missing something. What specifically are you saying makes that ship so valuable?

The two things I've got my eye on from this pack are the Breen raider (so I can use them as frigate pets on the character I'm finally allowing to fly a Rezreth) and a bugship (because bugship).

Yeah, I've got the ship, I guess my issue is just that I never use FBP. Murphy's Law guarantees that the only times I have FBP slotted, I'm also teamed with The Tank From Hell who scoops up every shred of aggro and nothing shoots at me. I stopped trying to use Feedback Pulse a while back now.

I just saw a post on Reddit pointing out that if you've still got any upgrading to do, the Phoenix Tech Upgrades become a fantastic bargain, worth more dilithium than was used to purchase them. So even if you don't get the top-end ships, still something there for many folks.

From what I've seen on the STO forums, the changes of getting the Epic (T6 ships) or Ultra-Rare (T5 ships) token is extremely low. So much so in all the accounts of the hundreds of supposedly bought Phoenix boxes, only about handful have been either epic or ultra-rare tokens. I had my eye on that JHAS just as a ship collector, but I'd probably never fly it. At least hardly ever.

That said, still a good opportunity as previously mentioned for the tech upgrades!

Looks like a bit of a Dilithium sink or for completionist, like those emotes, which you can't get anymore, might spend some dil to get those, they are uncommon afterall.

I got an RMC on my main now, which is great. My retired main had it from a promo, but didn't really need it as a Fed Eng. My Rom appreciates it, even if it's not strictly necessary at this point in the game.

Aside from that, I bought 50 packs and didn't get either of the top two. So I just got all the emotes, one vaguely interesting tribble (2.5% Dam&Shields is better on my BOff than the Kelvin 2% Dam&Res, since my BOffs are all holograms or androids with innate shield bonuses), and over a hundred upgrade kits.

The upgrade kits are pretty good though, it's the only thing I need from the phoenix pack now

They're good, but I don't really need any of them since my main runs around with full Epics any way. Most of which are Account-Bound, so I just lend them to alts when I need to play alts (Recruitment events, specifically).

Hmm, though now that I think about it, my BOffs and Ground equipment aren't full Epics, so I may as well gild everything now.

I'm trying to decide if there are any must-haves in the Rare and VR categories (sadly, I didn't get any UR or gold tokens). I think just the Admiralty card for the Tanius, and a few of my characters can make good use of the Crystalline Energy Torpedo. Beyond that, use some for upgrades, and hold on to the remainder.

I've ended up using almost 200 of the upgrade kits, with almost another 100 on standby. Down to a half million Dilithium now.

Now that my BOffs are all in gold gear, maybe they'll suck less.
