    are any of these weapons worth playing for? these are all episode rewards and I'm actually thinking about doing a tetyon build for my science toon.

    I honestly think that differences in weapon type end up being less significant than we think/want/expect them to be. (N.B.: that's just a gut hunch; I have no data to back it up)

    The flavor of energy you choose doesn't particularly make a huge difference most of the time.

    Plasma-Disruptor is handy for synergy with the TTFDBA (which is so OP that it changed the meta from one-energy-flavor to +Beam consoles), but that's just Disruptor weapons in general. I don't recall how the Plasma proc measures up, but really there's nothing particularly special about it. Consider it an easy free set of Disruptors.
    The Resonating Tetryon's [Chance] mod is worse than a [CrtD] or [Dam] since the Tetryon proc isn't really worthwhile, so a solid no on that.
    Piercing Tetryon isn't that bad, shield penetration can be handy.

    Personally, if I were to do a Tetryon build, I'd grab the DBB and console from Nukara rep, the Omni and either console or core from Butterfly, and free Refracting Tetryon Beam Arrays from leveling the Nukara rep. I think I had an alt outfitted like that once.
