    Howdy - with the upgrade weekend here, I'm probably going to be upgrading some of my stuff, but don't want to waste if there's some betting things I can be putting into some slots.

    Basically, it's a beam boat right now w/ emphasis on Exotic damage to rock out Gravity Well and such. What I don't know is what consoles might be available and if I should do any Episodes to get a better set for Impulse/Core/Shield/Deflector.

    I'll be honest, right now - I really have no issue taking down anything. This thing dominates and I love it - but got a lot of upgrade packs and wouldn't mind getting the parts up to higher levels and kick even more ass Wink

    You sound pretty happy with her overall. I'll make a few comments "at the margins":

    You've made the rear arc so everything fires forward. You might want to consider DBB phasers instead of arrays for a little more oomph.

    Your consoles could use a little cleanup/consolidation. The general rule is, Locators in Tactical slots, Plasma Embassy consoles in Science slots, and your Universals go in the remaining Engineering slots. With that in mind, in your shoes, I'd go over your console choices and ask myself, why [X] instead of [Y]?

    Exactly what I was going for really. Being a lazy bastard, facing forward and let it go - but also being able to just keep firing beams no matter what angle I'm facing with the (3) 360° turrets in the back. I'm generally looking at the target since that's how a handful of the skills go, both sci stuff & temporal.

    haha, a total mess ain't it? I just plug stuff in when it's an upgrade and really don't pay attention enough. I actually don't really know what's even available. Without reputation & end-game stuff, I just have episodes to get things from. There's not a lot of guides/builds for an Eternal that I've seen, cept for high-end with parts that I don't have access to (YET!).[/quote]

    Thanks very much for looking, I'll see about doing a bit more research and getting my consoles looking a bit more proper. I'm going to give those duals a try as well, since like I said - I'm always facing forward anyway, might as well get a bit more damage out of it.

    There some good ones outside of the Fleet, or should I just stick with Fleet?

    One specific thing I might try in your shoes: keep the Multi-Whatever-Energy Conduit, the tac console you get from the Undine Mission. Replace your Phaser Turret with the Heavy Bio-Molecular Phaser Turret that's another piece of that same set (Undine Reputation). The 2-piece bonus is a nice Cat2 boost to phaser damage.

    Good ones meaning......dual beams better than the Fleet - like from an episode or reputation.

    Ah, gotcha.

    For DBBs, your pickings are slim. I'd say either crafted CrtD/Pen (if you've got either the spare EC to buy them or the patience to craft them) or Advanced Fleet (if you don't). The former will perform slightly better, but the difference is probably marginal.

    Fleet [CrtD][Dam] are going to be loads cheaper than [CrtD][Pen] off the exchange.

    While I don't know offhand the difference between the best Fleet mods versus the actual best mod, The difference between no mod and the best mod tends to be roughly 3% per weapon. So the difference is most likely not worth the price difference, assuming you're not up to your eyeballs in EC and Dil.

    I doubt I have the EC for the ridiculous prices in this game. Especially on free account where I probably can't even put enough in the bank to buy 1 thing lol

    Anyways, I did buy some of the Fleet Advanced DDB's and brought them up to Mark XIV, one even flipped to Elite before running out of upgrades so it should be some fun.
