So, I'm going on vacation on Wednesday, flying from Calgary into Heathrow, and my Girlfriend and I are going to be spending 4 days London.
We already have a London Pass, and since she's a Civil Servant (works for HMRC), we can get into any heritage site for free, so we're going to be doing all the basic touristy stuff (she hasn't been to London for pleasure since she was a kid, so fun for both of us). We're also planning on heading out to Bletchley Park (Fun google easter egg, Google "Bletchley Park"), Windsor Castle, and maybe Stonehenge on the last day before we head back to Liverpool to spend the rest of my time at her place.
So, question: Besides obvious touristy stuff, what is there to do? Any fun pubs/clubs? Any geeky stuff (She's a huge trekky too)?

There's Forbidden Planet on Shaftesbury Avenue (near the British Museum, closest tube station is Tottenham Court Road). And not far from that is a new LEGO store in Leicester Square, if that interests you.
Beyond that I'm not too sure. I only really know the obvious touristy stuff (museums mainly), Hyde Park if the weather's nice. I just looked up the London Pass and it looks like you'll have plenty to do though. Hope you have a good time!

Hi! To be honest it depends on what you are into, the James Bond exhibition might still be on - if so that is good? If you want a truly British experience you could splash out and have afternoon tea at the Ritz or Fortnum and Mason or somewhere similar for £90 per person?
I always like to do things like the London Eye, Madam Tussauds when I go to London, I also like to go into Harrods at Knightsbridge even if only to look around even if we don't end up buying anything!
You could go to one of London's Musicals? There are quite a few good ones on if you wanted to go to one of those? The Lion King at London is particularly good at the minute - but if you want to get tickets I would go to one of the ticket kiosks at the theatre on the first day or at one of the attractions in london as they sell out quickly and you'll struggle to get some on the day you want to go!
Hope that helps!
(Oh and don't forget Buckingham Palace - Liz might be in!!!)

For the geek in you both visit Forbidden Planet - Covent Garden or The Book & Comic Exchange in Notting Hill also I was posted in London for four years there alot of hidden treasures in london , I was part of the queens foot guard ( ones that stand outside Buck Palace in the big bear skin and red tunic unfortunately due to the season you see them in long grey coats instead of the red tunic. Changing the Guard at Buckingham Palace 45 minutes lasts between 10.15-11.45am depending on the weather I say arrive early as it can get bit busy down there , may even feel cramped but as one that marched from Wellington Barracks to the palace we got lots of room lol Winsor and St James is the only ones you may be able to get close to taking a picture with the guards and the posts are very public also well i was posted there I fell in love with the Pie and Mash there are few shops dotted around but for the life of me I can not remember where I managed to sit down and have them . Also I know this not a big one but there is a Duck bus that goes around as well , I have not been on it personally but heard many good things and you take dive into the rivers and go on roads as a boat on wheels lol . Any way hope this has help and enjoy your visit to London .
