I know that in recent months SWTOR interest has waned, so I'm putting this thread together ready for increased interest. In this thread I'm going to be collating any existing subscribers' referral links so that if anyone decides they want to resubscribe, we can make it rewarding for our members.

If you have previously been a subscriber, and you use someone's referral link when you log back in for the first time in 90 days, you will get seven days of subscription level access, an exclusive Preferred Friends Bundle which includes special customisation and convenience unlocks, plus one Complimentary Character Transfer over the lifetime of your account.

The Preferred Friends Bundle includes:

Unlock: Inventory Module – Adds 10 additional Inventory slots. Using this item immediately grants additional inventory space, to a maximum of 80 slots.
Unlock: Crew Skill Slot – This item will grant an additional Crew Skill slot to a maximum of 3.
Customisation Control: Character Display Titles – Unlocks access to display Character Titles that you have earned. Show off your accomplishments and gain recognition with this unlock.
Customisation Control: Unify Colours – Unlocks the ability to unify the colours of your equipment. This cosmetic feature allows you to determine your character’s look.

Newb question from someone suffering from SWTOR information overload who can't find a definitive answer:

What if I have already logged in and even created a character? I haven't seen anything that addresses this situation one way or the other, so I assume using a referral link is a no-go for me now. I am still asking because I would like to help someone out if at all possible.

I also ask because out of curiosity, I plugged a link into my browser after logging into the SWTOR (SWEATER SWEATER SWEATER SWEATER ... sorry had to get that out of my system. It was bugging me.) site and while actively signed into the game. When the page loaded, I was asked if I was sure I wanted to apply the referral code to my account. I doubt this means anything because, going by some of the assinine implementations I have seen in other areas of the game, I fully expect this question is asked of everyone, whether or not there is any hope of the referral actually being processed. Still, if there is a chance, I want to make sure I do it right and don't screw something up by confusing the system, which the developer in me can totally see happening.

It is pretty nifty knowing how things like this work behind the scenes, but that knowledge is a double-edged (?) Lightsaber^TM because one can also imagine all of the ways things probably don't.

You can use Any referral code, at any time, but you can only use One, and never use one again. The bonus's you get in game are account wide and sent to you in an In-game mail to all characters, new or old. Then, after doing the nice thing and subscribing for 90 days, you try and get people to use YOUR code so you can get more bonuses...
