So I've gotten the ship bug yet again. I've started selling keys with the goal of getting a lockbox ship, but that doesn't mean my next ship needs to be a LBS.

Here's what I've been toying with.

T6 Connie: Mostly because I was one of those freak who always argued in favor of them. Apparently it's a temporal ship which I know nothing about. Its weapons are 5/3 and it's a cruiser.

JJPrize: It comes with a bridge! And looks like it's got unique weapons effects (pew pew). Unfortunately it's a command ship.

There's also the old Intel cruiser I could still get. And the intel defiant has reciprocity, but I'm mostly a cruiser guy.

So I'm not sure what my next ship will be, but I'm leaning to add to my massive cruiser collection.

Already own the Command ships, Odyssey collection, T6 Gal, T6 Ambassador/Guardian, T6 Vet ship, and probably more.

Any suggestions? BTW I'm a tac captain flying tier 6

I have all the ships mentioned above, and if you can afford the Connie, she is a beast! My Tac capt does crazy damage with her. She is small and very nimble. I believe the current price is around 1.5 - 1.8 billion ec, but I could be wrong.

what about the Tier 6 Intel Dreadnought: Vengeance class? its a beast... with its own bridge (lens flares included! LOL)

I personally like the Ouroboros for some Tactical Beam Boat Timey-Wimey-Space-Wizard shenanigans.

Plus, it has Battle Cloak, Raider Flanking and the Molecular Reconstruction abilities all T6 future ships have.

It's Console, Tactical Systems Stabilizer is good, and if you can get the Causal Anchor console off the Eternal-Class, the two-piece gives 10% to Directed Energy Weap, and 5% hull points.

Entropic Redistribution, Chronometric Inversion Field, Timeline Collapse and Causal Anchor + BFAW/Tactical Systems Stabilizer = powerful set of abilities, and most of them do not share a cool-down, activate them all and let 'er rip.

Others are good suggestions. The Peter Weller ship is affordable, as is the JJPrize, but how good are they? The Peter Weller has one endorsement in the thread so far.

The Oroboros at least is a zen ship so I could get it anytime, which is nice.

I'm currently flying the Konnie Command ship (JJPrise) and love it! It doesn't come with the special phaser effects--unless you equip the Kelvin Timeline phasers, but the ship itself is nice! I enjoy it very much, and have recently regularly (almost every time) been getting 1st place during the Adv. Crystalline Entity Encounter STF. It can hold its own and dish out pretty nice DPS when needed.

I've got my Konnie setup very similar to the T6 Tactical Odyssey build Bridger posted under the Build Help sub-forum, but with a couple Temporal boff abilities.

My fall-back ship is the Fleet T6 Intel Assault Cruiser (Sovereign).

Right now it's not that easy to recomand a ship for me becuase of the changes on Tribble but one of my main rules is that I fly the ship I like the most not the one that does the most DPS.

Both JJ ships perform very well, and are a lot of fun to fly. I used them both before I got my Temporal Connie. But like Bridger says, fly what you love and not just because you think it will do a ton of DPS. It will get old fast if you don't enjoy the ship.

Another fun thing to try, build what I call a "true to trek build", or canon build. They don't do as much damage, but they are great for story immersion.

I purchased all the Tholian ships on one of my science characters, and he is using only Tholian themed gear. It is a good opportunity to use a lot of the gimmicky consoles most people write off, but have really cool effects and visuals. Using the Tholian web on Borg cubes is very amusing!

The Defiant/Valiant is a fun ship; I've got a soft spot for PIlot abilities, but not so much for the Pilot Escorts. Lately though, when my Fed wants to Escort, I find myself going back to my T5U Fleet Maelstrom.

You could also try the T6 NX. Though its an escort which looks like a cruiser is all. Its basically an escort.

The T6 Intel Assault Cruiser (Sovereign) is one of my favourites. It feels like a slightly smaller, more manoeuvrable version of a lot of the big, heavy cruisers like the Odysseys. Plus the Sovereign is just a gorgeous looking ship. If you get the lower tier Refit and use both consoles you get a nice boost to damage and turn rate, and it already seems pretty fast and manoeuvrable, which is my favourite thing about it.

Looks great, fun to fly, and a 4x4 beam array setup makes it very easy to use.

Nothing wrong with Command. Rally Point is handy.

Intel will really depreciate with the rebalance if Tribble is any indication, since OSS is severely nerfed with the immitigable 5s subsystem disable now.
Nothing actually comes to mind as being better in Intel, unless you're PvPing with SS.
