You would think that they learned their lesson when they tried Paid mods a few years ago. This is seriously going to backfire on them. The Youtube video for 'Creation Club' is already being disliked bombed, with 700% more dislikes over likes.

I agree that Andromeda is nowhere near as bad as its made out to be. Yes the Animations were wonky, but they did take an action rpg shooter that was built originally on the Unreal Engine, probably one of the most flexible game engines on the market right now, try and recreate it in the Frostbite engine, which was made FPS games (I know that DAI was made on Frostbite, but DA games have entirely different mechanics), add on top of that the fact that the meat of the games development was done in the last year of production, with animations even being outsourced to a 3rd party developer. There were bound to be issues.

The animations aside, the game is actually pretty good, with the normal amount of hiccups that you would expect for a game this complex and semi-open world, just like how Dragon Age Inquisition had its issues at launch.

Just finished watching the Xbox conference, and with the Anthem demo they showed, I guess that explains a lot of why not a lot of work was done on Andromeda.

There is a good write up floating around the ea, new bsn forums that explains why Andromeda was/is in the shape it is. I like ME A tbh but yeah Bioware dropped the ball pure and simple releasing it as it was dayone. Those eyes still haunt me.
The early concepts shots were pure joy, instead we got troll PeeBee.
That said if they do DLC I will be on it like well like something fast, I like me my Mass Effect.

Frankly considering the huge mess that was Andromeda's development cycle it's a miracle they got it out in as good a condition as it was when you compare it to say Arkham Knight on PC which was pretty much unplayable for 90% of the people who brought it. I enjoyed Andromeda, it't not perfect but it's not as bad as people said it was and with the ongoing patches it's better than it was at launch.

As for E3 to keep this thing on topic for me Detroit: Become Human was one I was really looking forward to seeing more of, anything by Quantic Dream I usually love and Detroit is looking awesome. Besides that Destiny 2, Cyberpunk 2077 the new Horizon Zero Dawn expansion, the new Spider-Man game, God of War, Days Gone and Hidden Agenda all looked good too.

As for Bethesda well it looks like EA, sounds like EA, smells like EA yet isn't EA. Unless EA brought them and just didn't tell anybody or have they just lost their minds? But we all know the paid mod thing isn't going to work out but the fact that it's been 6 years and we've had nothing on TES 6 is odd. Although if that 6 years is because they finally decided to stop being lazy and build a new game engine then I'll take the long wait if it gives us a new TES that isn't another paint by numbers copy and paste job that they've been doing ever since Oblivion came out.

Plus since their whole Fallout 4 let's not reveal it until 6 months before it's due out thing, it wouldn't surprise me if they did it again with a TES 6. For now I'm gonna grab me some popcorn and watch their new creator's club plan blow up in their face like the last time they tried paid mods happened, should be a good show

Cyberpunk 2077 at E3. Oh man, I can't wait. Witcher 3 by CDProjekRed was amazing (Awesome Studio, and wonderful Devs who listen to their playerbase.). I know I shouldn't, but I have high expectations, and can't wait to see what they show off at E3

They truly are. I hope their project doesn't get delayed with the recent breach of their security. I really admire their response and forward-looking manner. More so, I have greatly enjoyed their work.

I'm a bit concerned with Bethesda's Fallout VR and "pay for mod" service. I will say I am not a fan of any of them. Mainly as the biggest appeal to the Fallout 3, NLV, Fallout 4, and Skyrim has been the modding. I've always hated the "hands only" viewpoint, as it makes it feel as though I have no body. On top of the VR, which doesn't add any new content, the pay or subscription to some 'official mod' service has me a bit concerned.
