I'll admit I had buyers remorse NOT to get the CBC pack. It wasn't until I started moving things around my collection that it dawned on me: the only reason I would ever fly a CBC is to look at the ship fly around. I mean, I know what my kitbashed CBC would look like ... but that's it.

As an update, I busted out the Pralim's Trait yesterday and decided to work on my Atlas because ... old school. After that, the Presidio to finish my stint as a Carrier Captain. Believe me, if you see me for events, Solaris will fly!

It was a great sale from Cryptic and I am glad to have been playing for it.

Indeed, the only reason you even bought the Presidio was for the trait, right? The Concorde's Trait seems pretty skippable, and while the Geneva's trait has some utility for a build centering on drains/Tachyon Beam, I just don't see that as something you're going to make the centerpiece of an Excelsior's build.

I meant to ask, how much did that Atlas run you?

That Atlas cost me 200m. I've been watching prices and rarely saw it for <300m until the weekend. I got real Real REAL lucky I think.

The NX prices also dropped due to the infinity lockbox, saw some dudes selling it for 230M. I really wish I had a shortcut to grind all those credits though. Oh well.

I've been spending on a bunch of my alts, in a general effort to "raise the floor," and making sure that no one character is way the hell out of date, but the upshot of that is that I probably don't even have half that amount spread across my whole roster ATM.

Don't get me wrong, there was a cost: Lockbox keys. The Keyring pack (?), coupled with Zen sales and C-Store sales along the way allow me to collect a lot of keys relatively cheap. Selling just above base price = big bucks. It's taken several months but that's how I made maybe 50-60% of that cost. The rest was a combo of
* running the Tour
* diligently selling junk at Drozana
* making/selling Aegis gear
* making/selling AP and Phaser BA with decent mods (selling the junk at Drozana).

So, the Atlas cost me more real cash. This console better live up to it's fame.

With this purchase I'm done seeing the Galaxy over and over and over ... although I do want a Timeline Stabilizer ...

The first time you activate it, and go from "Heavy damage, all decks," to "Daisy Fresh, let's dance, [bleep]", while you're still taking fire, you will realize it was money well spent.

It was tough not to do some more snacking, as in addition to my purchases, I left myself a pile of Zen. My Generator-sense is saying that we'll see some new T6 ships released in the next month or so, and I wanted to have the means to pick them up in case they're any good.

But yeah, I can't complain. MMEs, Temporal Pack, the D'Khellra, the Draguas, and four extra character slots. I gorged harder here than I did on my turkey.

Yeah, if I'd zeroed out my Zen balance, next week they'd announce ike, Miracle Worker T6 Vo'Quv, or Tempest, or some other ship I'm pining for.

For the Vo'Quv, it's both. I loooooove my T5U Flo'Quv, but I think the design is showing its age a bit, and the fact that Cryptic released the g*d*mn Jupiter without KDF and Romulan equivalents bugs the ever-living crap out of me.
For the Patrol Escort, it's just such a pretty damn ship (and here I am specifically referring to the Maelstrom-class, runs neck-and-neck with the Gladius for me), and it was Donovan's first endgame ship.
