already have 1755 lobi and I just bought 200 keys and made 300 upgrades for space/ground weapons...and 3.74 million refined dilithium so lets see what happens lol Attachment 8020

I’ll be up to about 350m EC by tomorrow. That’s unlikely to be enough to go shopping on day 1, but it’ll make a dent at the very least. I’ve not played much as I took a break the last couple of months but I need another week to get what dilithium I have available fully refined.

Hey Dylan, good luck on trying to win it.

I'm tempted to get it on the lockbox action with a few keys. Won't win, but at least I'll have fun trying.

I reckon it’ll skyrocket on the first few days as it’s popular but should stabilise lower, probably around the 300-400M mark.
The Walker should be cheaper as it’s lobi so more readily available.

Once it’s added to the infinity it should go down a fair bit though.

I personally would never open a normal Lockbox again.

I would agree with Bridger on that front. If you’re after a ship, look at the exchange for the solution. You could well open 10 boxes and get lucky or you could open 1000 boxes and have nothing much to show for it.

When you watch the zone chat for those who get prize notifications, some of those folks are the lucky ones, but odds are many of them have spent millions of EC or hundreds of pounds on keys to obtain that result. An average player may drop, for the sake of example, £50 a month on the game for one thing or another, but compared to the so called whales, that would barely even register as a blip in the grand scheme of things.

The Kelvin Connie was the first, last and only time I played the boxes seriously and I did get lucky with it (box 42 if I remember rightly) but these days, I’d only open a box if I was after lobi for something that can’t be traded or sold like the ground weapons. And even then I’d wait for the Infinity box to appear.

I need the Lobi so I will be opening some boxes for sure.

Yeah, I'll need the Lobi too. Got a few ships in the Lobi store I want to buy. Hence why I still use my keys. I've only won 3 ships out of my lockboxing. Wells (T5), Olean and Tadaari. But I gotta say I have a lot of fun seeing if I get lucky enough to win again.

Don't count my Konnie because I was gifted that.

It’s easy to get drawn into the gambling. I once bought only 4 promo r&d packs and got a T6 Connie on my last one. That stuff is not gonna happen ever again!

Only other ship I’ve won was a Manasa escort that cost me well over 50 keys to win.

I only open boxes to get lobi these days, I never set out with the idea of getting anything more than a few crystals as a prize, anything better is a nice suprise.

I agree not to open LB for a ship. BUT, there is the Lobi and other item may net some good coin otherwise. But for Lobi ships, EC is more economical from a certain point of view.

Interesting - the Crossfield has an escort weapons layout rather than the typical 3/3 of science ships.

And the Walker is a 5/3 layout, these ships are going to be popular.

Yes, that too a science ship having 1 extra weapon slot - that's huge. I'm happy with the layout.
