So Prime Lorca is actually Mirror Lorca.......which begs the questions:

1) how did he get to our universe?
2) what happened to the prime version, is he captive somewhere, or dead, or swapped over?
3) when did Lorca swap over, because it had to be at least after the Binary Stars, but before Burnham got released obviously.

Mirror Command ship looks a bit odd, but i'm cool with it. There's a suitable evil look to it and thankfully it's not just a mirror Connie or some nonsense.

I'm guessing that Stammets is now on the wrong ship, which means although he is back in the right universe he's on the wrong Disco. And vice versa for evil-Stammets.
Plus i'm guessing that possible reason for no more spore drive in other canon sources is that the evil terrans meddling with it has damaged it. So now it needs to be saved, perhaps by sealing it off totally from both sides. Then Disco just becomes a normal Federation ship in later series.

Stamets is not swapped. Mirror Stamets wakes up in I.S.S. Charon's medbay and normal one wakes up at Discovery. both in the same universe. thats it.

I KNEW it! I always had a feeling like Lorca belonged more to the Mirror universe than the Prime universe. I almost made that comment back a couple episodes ago here on these forums when we found out what universe they had come to, but perhaps thought I was reading into everything he's done too much.

I've been really enjoying the episodes in the Mirror Universe more so than the previous episodes, I have to say.

Anyhow, I've got a little theory that Culber will return to Discovery, maybe some mycelium magic or the mirror one joining Discovery.

I have to say, I've gone 180 degrees on this show. I was fairly neutral on my expectations when it started, it might be good...it might be bad.
The first few episodes I wasn't impressed with, which I gave them a pass on being new.
However it literally seems like each episode of the past 6 or so has been slightly better than the previous.
Kudos.

I'm an unabashed fan of the show. Have really enjoyed it, and really liked this episode. Looking forward to seeing how things wrap up this season.

Another great episode in my opinion. I was pretty happy with how it unfolded, even the Lorca surprise (which really wasnt a surprise).

The only thing for me was the rather messy look of the Terran flagship, it really doesn't match anything we have seen so far. I found it looked like a casino ship or something, and not really impressive. But maybe that will change with us getting a better look at it.

I am very curious to see how the show turns out, not even sure if Discovery will even make it back at this point, but perhaps with Saru as Captaind and Michael as XO?

I cannot wait to find out

P.S. Still think Ash and what they do with him will remain the most interesting aspect of the show for me.

Well, Michael has to serve her sentence or be pardoned for it entirely; not to mention the fact that her stay of execution was basically illegal, since Lorca was an impersonator.
So from there to XO is a long way still.

Considering she rescued an admiral, helped cracked the klingon cloak, and presumably rescues Discovery from the clutches of the terran empire, im pretty sure a pardon will be in order.

Sorry gang, but by my reckoning, Michael should have been executed (and not because I don't really care for the character). How one sentence saved her from the Emperor blows me away.

She's a Mary Sue, they aren't going to kill her off.

I don't like her character, she has seemingly no real flaws, any that come up are always brushed off and aren't really that problematic. I do hope that Saru becomes Captain of the Discovery, I find him to be a much more likeable character.

She's also, *the* main character, so the rest of the universe can burn in a tornado fire at this point.

Saru is, frankly, the most believable character (in my opinion), so if that happens then it would be amazewows. Tilly needs a field promotion to ... not Cadet.

You know, come to think of it, I wouldn't mind growth is the navigator with the implants. She's the only one I can recall on Discovery who came from the Shenzhou.

It'll be interesting to see what the writers have in store further, or if they will be leaving mirror universe at all at this point.
