Ugh, I hate klingon ships, they are ugly outside and even uglier inside !

Green, bird like ships with cloaking devices, red interior that is dark and shadowy, where is honor in that ! They don't face enemies head on as Federation does, no they rather hide and then attack, being no better than Romulans !

Although I think it could use it's own thread (concerning the Daedulus), I think it is a useful ship for it's role. Especially since Starfleet is trusted with the Federation's main goal with respect to interplanetary travel: research and exploration.

And since spaceships do not need to be aesthetically pleasing to be functional, then the Daedulus is certainly functional lol

I find them rather nice and perfect to fulfill the role of Starfleet. To seek out new life and new civilizations ! Thus Hope-class and Olympics-class are even more estheticaly pleasing and are great, my Hope-class ship is named after my favourite writter, Jules Verne. U.S.S. Verne is a great ship, though if you compare them to other ships they are rather small !

I find Klingon ships quite ugly and their attack pattern is unhonorable, they use cloak, meaning they hide, that is the way of treacherous Romulan Empire and it's agents Tal Shiar and not the way of Klingons. I respect Klingons for their traditions and honor, but they are bloodthirsty savages, who only seek war and glory "found" in it. You can clearly see that when looking at their ships. While Federation is more peace oriented, disciplined and better in more or less everything, which too can be seen in ther ships. Being big, elequent, majestic and beautiful you cannot think of Federation or Starfleet as an aggressive nation !

I see Klingon strategy similar to what I would use when I go hunting. You don't just walk up to a deer and punch it in the face, from the shadows you stalk it, wait for the right moment and strike.

They seek out war/conquest as a means to test them selves, and to hone their skills.

A Klingon may hunt from the shadows, but they won't poison you like a Romulan.

As for the Federation, they are more like the Borg then anything else. They assimilate through the spreading of their culture and technology, until your people have become enamored enough to join them.

The Federation convinced me, there is no turning back. Yes they are hunting, but they are all like, "He should die an honorable death !", then they are attacking from shadows, killing defenceless, injured etc. for what purpose, to give them an honorable death ? There is no honor in killing a defenseless, injured civilian, while they are all big talk about honor. There is rarely any honor when Klingons fight others. They are only honorable when it comes to internal matters. And even then they poison each other, undermine and sabotage, so the WHOLE Klingon Empire is just Game of Thrones story, with a bit of Sith aroma !

But don't get me wrong, I like them ! I actually play them in STO, though not as a Klingon but an Alien Romulan that joined with Klingons ! I like their uniforms, very "battlish" and some of their ships actually look quite ok. I even changed my Alien from High Elven looking one to more Klingon looking one and the uniform is actually looking as an armor for a warrior that Sir William Heckenforth, the honorable Knight that he is, is !

Don't know what it stands for as no official explanation is given but a tiny number of STO vessels have access to the NAR prefix for civilian/freighter vessels. Essentially used for non-Starfleet ships still under Federation control.

My Amarie has this prefix as an option and I believe the Kobayashi Maru also has it, but that cannot be flown.

I wonder if the NAR prefix equates to the modern MSC (Military Sealift Command)? Support ships manned by civilians under combined military/civilian command. Oilers, tenders, tugs, hospital ships, that sort of stuff.

If you would compare Galaxy-class cruiser and Long range Intrepid-class frigate, not only in their military might but also usefulness, regarding exploration, combat and it's overall look and design, which one would you pick as better Federation ship ?

K'tinga-class Klingon cruiser may be my favorite Klingon vessel, D'Deridex-class warbird is my favorite Romulan ship and Galaxy-class exploration cruiser is my favorite Federation starship. You may as well say I love classic

Considering the Enterprise-D would be by the time of Nemesis 15 years old and Nemesis was 16 years ago she would be over 30 years old by now not to forget that the development started in the 2350s and the Enterprise was the third ship build.

She is an oldtimer by now
