Considering the Enterprise-D would be by the time of Nemesis 15 years old and Nemesis was 16 years ago she would be over 30 years old by now not to forget that the development started in the 2350s and the Enterprise was the third ship build.
She is an oldtimer by now
Well, not really an "old timer" as a "lady in her prime".
I believe that Starfleet vessels were designed to have a long service life. I recall the Galaxy was supposed to remain in service for like 100 years, with refits and upgrades every generation or so. The Sovereign was probably along the same lines.
Truly forward thinking to be honest. Kind of like how we 'upgrade' our systems and components in STO... before the next Tier of ship comes out.
But definitely interesting to see those numbers.
