    The new Star Trek community website, Star Trek Outpost, is now open in beta. This website is for any community related topics to be discussed and shared, at the moment this website is empty of topics but it looks good and I believe is a great idea and a good project. Admiral Chris5626 has this to say:

    Star Trek Outpost soft launches today the website is currently closed to the wider community however members of The United Federation of Planets, 5D Gaming and 9th Fleet will be able to register for exclusive access ahead of the official launch.

    Star Trek Outpost was created as a Star Trek community website where fans could discuss all things Star Trek whilst also allowing Star Trek gaming clans and fleets a neutral place for interact and socialise together.

    At the moment the site is in testing and there will be a communication in the near future as to exactly what the site will be doing.

    Despite the fact that the site is still in testing it is currently being used for Starfleet Command Council, a coalition of fleets and clans dedicated to mutual cooperation of which The United Federation of Planets {UFP} is a member.

    Although not strictly a {UFP} asset Star Trek Outpost does pay {UFP} for hosting and technical services.
