Call me behind the times or whatever but currently i own an ORIGINAL play-station 2 in near perfect condition (in fact i would say in perfect condition) that was bought less than 12 months after they came out.

Now recently alot of new games which i REALLY want to get a hold of have dropped down to a reasonable price. Including mass effect & ME 2, I aslo have an ich to take a look at just cause 2.

Now what i want is a reasonably good Xbox 360 Not one of the new ones, For under

well thats that problem sorted, I found a pre owned 360 arcade for

make sure the console is not banned from Xbox live....Id be weary of buying a pre-owned console if i were you..cuz when Xbox bans they ban consoles as well as gamertags...also older consoles are more prone to Red Ring of Death

Be carefull! In order to avoid that RROD stuff which is pretty much over you have to look at the 360 box and may sure it has a manufacture's date at or after September 2008 because I believe that is when Microsoft put the Jasper chips in the Elite's and Arcades. You could get the newest Xbox 360 for the same price as the older ones, why not go with that? I have a black Elite manufactured in May 2008.

Because i only have a smalll income and for all i know i may only work one day this month. and im made redundent at the end of August so i need to be carefull with money

My brother had one of the original 360s from before september 08, Fried itself, we opened it up and did an equipment autopsy found that there was not sufficient cooling. Anyway after some re soldering and applying heat paste we got another 6 months out of it before the heat got to the power supply and blew the whole thing. weather that was the case with all of them i dont know
