Yesterday marked the official opening of Living The Trek Life, a Star Trek themed blog which covers hot issues which affect today's society, discussing the situations in relation to Star Trek. As well as the monthly column which is printed in the {UFP} Herald, the blog will feature short posts about current events, issues and insights from the author, Thomas Mullaly. He had this to say about the launch:

As such, I respond to all their comments, and I encourage them to share their opinions on the subjects we're discussing so that a healthy debate can ensue. If they propose topics, I'm going to do my best to give them what they want. Especially if its controversial.
Keep an eye out on the blog and in the {UFP} Herald for the next full column on September 1st, when Thomas Mullaly talks about the controversial topic of Gay Marriage/Relationships. In the mean time, check out the blog at www.livingthetreklife.com to read his daily doses of trek wisdom.
