After we get to Bryma, we're going on a hunt for a weapons cargo, in addition to everything else, sort of like a treasure hunt. Starfleet doesn't want it falling into the wrong hands, pirates and whatever, which we'll obviously run into haha

I also updated our mission page, so you guys have a time table of what we're looking at. Two weeks in our story will take longer in real life, I'm hoping to see posts from everyone every week or two.

We're getting some new official leadership soon, either me or someone else. We're still going ahead at full speed, so please keep contributing. I love how the crew has worked together and introduced ourselves. We did well with first battle and we're going to need everyone in this upcoming mission.

I understand it might be discouraging to have our top officers disappear, for any reason. I want everyone to be assured that this ship and its mission is continuing, regardless. I enjoy our comradery and look forward to more.

Ares Roleplay - Commanding Officer
CL5 - Tier 5 (Rear Admiral)

With the recent departure of Eaglesg, we are looking for an enigmatic and enthusiastic individual to step up and curate our fledgling Role Play Division.

The successful candidate must be willing to help drive exciting and engaging storylines for the USS Ares, as well as directly interact with the other players involved - making sure that they're enjoying the experience and participating consistently.

JOB DUTIES

To actively manage the division and its staff
Develop & maintain interesting and developing storylines for the Ares Roleplay
Pro-actively advertise and recruit for the Roleplay SIM
Engage with staff regularly to discuss developments
The successful candidate of this role would report to KerryMalone.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

It is required that for this role, you must have passed and completed the Orientation Assessment, Officer Qualification Exam and the Command Exam..
Please be prepared to discuss your plans for the ongoing development of the RolePlay Project.
Submit 2 ideas you'd like to see implemented in your first three months.

So to leave it open for eagles to return, do we have the captain in sickbay take a turn for the worst and have to place him into stasis?

That's a good question. What does our medical team think? Could we handle having him in statis, is that realistic? Maybe like in a coma? We might end up having a funeral haha interesting situation.

Considering his injuries I would say a short-term coma would be realistic, maybe a week or so?

If we want we can go REALLY Sci-Fi and have him die only to find something on the planet we are travelling to that has the potential or accidentally revives him, maybe in some True Way plot?

It depends on how long he is gone really.

According to that job posting, it seems like he's not coming back. Would a starship freeze him or something? I don't want us reviving him if it's not Eaglesg writing his character.
