That means you effectively only have 3 months worth of resources, which really restricts available options.

The easiest/cheapest way to get mileage out of most ships is really to go with a beam boat, since you don't have to split abilities/buffs over multiple weapon types. Hmm.

I do want to add a note about your comment about a different ship: don't. If you like this ship, then stick with it. As Bridger declared, the changing ships won't change the overall layout in terms of gear, BOffs or DOffs, relatively speaking. What may change is playstyle: a Science ship should be handled differently than an escort, than a cruiser for the most part (in my opinion).

Soooo, if you want to play with the Yamato (and I tortured myself considering getting one because the skin is SO BEAUTIFUL), then keep at it until you become a master The fun part is the journey, I promise.

Just and update, Things are going pretty well in putting everything together, one question though, I came into the game too late to get the ship with the Cold-Hearted Trait, is their a somewhat decent alternative trait I can use?

I recommend using any other trait to support some other aspect of your build. Cold-Hearted demands some conditions and boosts Drain and DRR based on those conditions.

The only traits that would come to my mind, are bit costly and are on Jem'Hadar ships since we don't know what will happen I would not recomand you buying them or something.

Out of curiosity which Jem'Hadar ships? Maybe i should wait and see what comes in the expansion.

i'm going by the ones you suggested in the Skill planner, With the exception of that one trait, i'm actually doing pretty well in getting almost everything for the build, The Doff's, colony items and ships traits are probably gonna take some time but i'm at a steady pace.

at the moment, I'm working on the deflector, shield and consoles, i'm currently using Pulse Phaser Beam arrays Very Rare [CrtD x2] [Dmg] Until I craft phaser with [Pen]. While at the same time I'm working on unlocking the final slots for Rep Spacetrait , Ship Space trait and Active Rep trait while also unlocking the necessary traits with the Ship traits being the last ones, gonna have to save the lobi for the two ships I need. Doff's i'm currently searching for on the exchange while gathering zen via dilihthium, its gonna be a long process, But I already feel rewarded

As for performance, I already see significant improvements with some of the equipment i've attained and skill tree, bridger is an excellent teacher

still Working on it, Lobi for the ships and consoles and Fleet credits for the extra slots are really knee capping me. I want to get those done before I start getting the Doffs and upgrading. I really wish I started the game sooner so I could have participated in the event and gotten the breen ship with the awesome ship trait for free, its gonna take me a while to get the lobi for the Jem'Hadar carrier and that other ship. Bright side, I'm close to getting enough zen for the ships with the two traits I need from the Zen Store, though i fear if my patience runs out I may have to open my wallet to hasten the process. I really wish they offered alternative avenues for Lobi and extra trait slots, its gonna take forever to get the fleet credits for the three I need.

Lobi ships are really expensive in terms of the keys necessary to get the Lobi, it's usually cheaper to sell the keys for EC and buy the Lobi ship off the exchange.

For Fleet Credits, I've noticed lots of open DOff contribution slots lately. You can stick alts at the academy to grab free DOffs and send them to your main. Then just contribute all the commons (and probably break down the greens to whites). Won't give a lot, but at 300 FC per DOff (I think?) and 12 DOffs per alt (not including greens being broken down into whites) that's still a free 3600 per alt every few days.
