Play as Jem’Hadar

For the first time ever, players will be able to experience Star Trek Online through the eyes of the Jem’Hadar, genetically engineered soldiers of the Dominion. This brand-new playable faction will start at level 60 with a variety of completed Reputations, Specialization Trees, Duty Officer tracks, and R&D progress. Victory is Life also introduces an increased level cap of 65, a new queue, added progression system and all-new Sector Battlezone, a new gameplay feature that takes players into a war between the stars to save the Gamma Quadrant. Additional features included with Victory is Life will be revealed at launch.

Very nice! I guess this will be as close as we get to the Hutet Dreadnought, not counting the Tzen'tar Dreadnought.

Looks to have some interesting stuff i think. The new episodes are always fun a few times and look pretty good these days. A sector BZ sounds interesting as long as it's not DOA like the Tzenkethi one.

Still not sure i could be bothered grinding up another new toon though, i'd prefer some sort of "jump to 50" mechanic to give us a chance to skip ahead a bit.

And i'm still interested to see what happens with existing JH ships like the JHHEC and JHDC to name a couple. Will they become worthless or are they going to grant owners of those ships access to them for new JH toons? I'l be pretty pissed if I can just buy straight up C-store copies for considerably less than i forked out for boxed ones.

It'll be interesting to see what they do about the Attack Ship, it was a pretty default Jem'Hadar ship in STO but both are lockbox ships. Do we think they'll give a different ship instead of the Attack, make the Lockbox ones faction wide unlocks as long as you're a Jem'Hadar or more likely do something that makes the T5 and T6 lockbox variants different to the regular version?

Is it bad I'd want T6U...I don't want T7...but I kinda want T6U because I'm a little OCD and want my ships to have a even amount of consoles? >.>

Ah my eyes deceived me lol!

That sounds much better admittedly, and i a much more sensible way to add a new faction than previously. With that in mind i may just find an excuse to put some time into this expansion!
I'm guessing they will give us all one free character slot to play with?

Expansion 4 looks promising and makes me excited like back then for LoR expansion.

I'm confused though that they depict Kira as Bajoran Militia Colonel again there, while she should rather wear the Sydney Opera House hat.

The showed them all intentionally how they looked in the show so you can say this is Kira, Odo...

Well since they showed what could have been DS9 blowing up in the trailer, I hope they don't give it the awful redesign it currently has in the novels because -shudder- No just no.

They hinted the Jem'Hadar ships will have evolved over the last 30 years since we have seen the Dominion. They will probably have a redesigned version of the Bug ship.
