Yeah... I also desperately wanted to see massive fleets fight each other. That's why DS9 is my favourite out of all the series. In DS9 we see the Galaxy class charging at enemy ships and acting like a Dreadnaught. To be honest, a lot of the battle in TNG was kind of boring.

Anyway, what scenario do you think you would want to see your time ship in?

- Intrepid class from Pre-UFP era (E.G. Enterprise era)
- typhoon class, the one off my signature!
- Akira Class
- nebula clas
- sovereign class

Yes, the ENT era Intrepid class was my favourite ship from that era. I loved the look of it.

Now the typhoon is one I have always found quite interesting, the ship is supposed to act as an HQ/starbase in motion behind enemy lines.

Do you think Starfleet would find much use for it after the Dominion War?

Oh and yes the trusty Miranda, one of my favourite ship designs because of its uniqueness and the history it has. In Star Trek Armada III I always prefer building tonnes of Mirandas rather that Saber classes.

Speaking of which do you think the Saber is superior to the Miranda and why do/don't you think so?

The saber class is awesome and an awesome looking ship! I totally forgot about that one! Fell in love with it from the Star Trek Corps of Engineers books - a plucky little ship and deserving of more constructive screen time too!

The intrepid deserved to be more than a flyby ship, unlike TNG and DS9 they never really explored other ships much in enterprise considering they had some great looking ships!

The typhoon could have served as a long distance ship, much in the same way the UNSC infinity did in Halo, it could have been happily repurposed, in house dilithium mining facilities and air ponies bays and that sort of thing etc it launched a defiant class too so it could have happily done a lot of different things!

Agreed. Do you think the Typhoon would be used as an outpost on the Dominions side of the wormhole?

The Saber is a great ship I agree, I like its close ties with the Akira and Defiant class ships. I like how Starfleet saw the Miranda was getting very old and they desperately needed an up-to-date warship that can patrol their territory. I feel the design artists really did a good job of mimicking the Mirandas design to an extent but then making the Saber into a much sleeker and battle-ready ship.

So I have a few ideas for scenarios to put the Saber through:

1. The UFP lost contact with a colony two days ago and has put together a task force to investigate, it consists of two Mirandas, one Excaliber, two Akira's, one Nebula, one Saber, one Defiant and a Galaxy class. When the fleet passes a light asteroid field they detect a massive object in the centre. The USS Locanda (Galaxy Class) is the flagship and decides to intercept the target, once in sensor range they discover its a Borg Cube. They try to flee but the Cube has started to engage them. the USS Endurance will be the Saber class vessel. We could also use this scenario for other vessels in the coming weeks.

2. the USS Endurance is patrolling the Edge of Cardassian occupied space (4 months after the Dominion War) when it receives a distress signal from a Cardassian freighter, upon arrival the Endurance finds a borded and disabled freighter and two pirate vessels, one Nausican Raider and another an Orion Cutless.

3. During the Dominion war, the USS Endurance was part of the fleet tasked with destroying the fleet around Cardassia Prime.

I think the saber is a good first ship to choose to focus on!

The typhoon I think more of a deep space exploration vessel but on a much grander scale much like I said the UNSC Infinity was/is!

I think that bolting that ship on the other side of the wormhole would likely do more harm than good to be honest it would probably bring further dominion hostilities than pacify them!

My suggestion would be to alternate between famous ship-classes and not-so-much-in-the-limelight-ship-classes. Keep us readers wanting more.

Some classes that may fit the not-so-famous tag:

Rhode Island/Nova/etc family
Olympic/Hope/etc family
Saber/etc family
Cheyenne/Stargazer/family

My first ever T6 ship is my Sojourner Class ship I use on my Engineer as a beam boat. I'm curious to see what people think of it as a class.

Yes, very interesting design, I have only seen it in STO but from what I can tell it looks to be a Long Range Advanced Explore/Dreadnaught like the Galaxy. Defidently something worth looking into!

Showcasing how it is a nice ship. Perhaps trying to survive the last TOS mission by reaching the limit.

What ideas do you have to make this something really special?
I just always have a hard time trying to get that ship to survive that without coming back later with a higher level and gear.

As for other ships, I think a good one to show off would be the Miracle ships.

Hey Forthegamer, would your last two responses be for STO?

This is probably my bad for not making it clear but, what I mean by scenario is putting the ship into a battle situation and analysing what tactics it would use and will it/will it not survive the engagement.
