The April picture of the monthy Ships of the Line Calander is very interesting because it features two new ship classes for the price of one.
Angel's Gate by Bill Krause
The two Federation ships have been identified as Hornet Class starships. NCC-9700 is the lead ship of this class, the USS Hornet, while the sister ship, NCC-9701, is unnamed but I believe a good name for it would be the USS Wasp. When I first looked at these ships, they reminded me of some type of either destroyer or scout ship due to what looked like a sensor or weapons pod on the underside of the ship. I did some research and found a popular idea for the ship's role was to be a fighter carrier. This makes sense because there were two American aircraft carriers, named the USS Wasp (CV - 7) and USS Hornet (CV - 8 ), which served during WWII. The Hornet was the more distinguished ship which was probably why the above class was named after her.
Possible locations for launch bays for fighters are below the nacelles, labeled by a series of numbers over hexagon shaped doors, but these could also be escape pods.
There are also a pair of Klingon starships at the top center of the image.
I did some digging and found they are D10 battlecruisers, known as Riskadh ships in the Klingon language. They are featured with the Hornet class ships as an encounter in either an asteroid belt or planetary rings towards the end of the 23rd century.

The D10 was originally a FASA design I think. There are two in the upper right of this photo:
