I think the main issue with the DR leveling curve was that we would hit 50 before we finished the existing content, and thus "wasted" a huge amount of XP that would turn out to be necessary to get from 50-60. Fresh characters going from 1-60 shouldn't have had nearly as much of an issue, and would have been above 50 long before the DR arcs.

Also, Admiralty didn't exist yet, and that's a huge source of high level exp. The kind of level steps the blog is talking about would blow past just churning admiralty missions.

I'd like for them to update the Monarch and Venture Class Cruisers, give more detail to the venture and update the design of the Monarch.

Well the main issue seems to be upgrading rarity at mk 15 so if you want golden rep or other non crafted items, you should upgrade them immedialty during the next upgrade event since you will have even less roll chances.

Also the npc scaling of 60 to 65 might become another delta rising fiasco.
When your average pugger still have troubles to break 10k dps while dps records are still +300k dps despite the pvp balance season finding a middleground for content becomes impossible and the last level increase only made that problem worse.

Don't forget these 300K+ are produced by Nany runs but yes the averag STO player has problems with Borg Spears.

If you check the STO Combat Meter there are 11577 parses and 50% of them are below 21K

You know what I just realized, if everyone is gonna have free access to upgrade-able T5 ships with the free upgrade tokens, what about those players who are lifetime members that had it as an exclusive perk for them? Will Cryptic replace that reward with something else or just sweep it under the rug?

So we get 2, I'm cool with that. It's really just an extra card, since the ships themselves are unlikely to be used considering we have a T5 and T6 Veteran ship.

They will probably keep that as a reward, for free to play gamers, they might not get to T6 for a while, unless they use event ships or get Fleet Ship Modules, but as Dark said, it is an extra card too!

Ok I have the Combat boost running on my main on Holodeck but looks like our ships are going to get tougher:

Level 60 Defiant - 69712 Hull (Combat Boost) - Level 65 Defiant - 68525 (Tribble No Combat Boost)

If I use [Prototype Ablative Jevonite Hardpoints] I get the Defiant on Tribble up to 83376 who needs a cruiser anymore.
