    I had to reply to some of your points Hyperion lol Cool

    Beams down to the planet like real Captains should.
    Captain's place is on the bridge!

    Keeps her First Officer properly in the dark.
    That sounds more like a con if anything.

    Picard could never act like a prostitute to gain a tactical advantage.
    Prostitute Captain < Captain of the Enterprise.

    When Janeway lands her ship, it can take off again.
    Lol that's not Picard's fault *cough Riker*

    Janeway says "I don't like you!" to her enemies instead of trying to convince them to behave better
    I am sure that peacefully resolved a lot of Diplomatic Issues lol

    Picard likes to talk his way through. Janeway likes to punch her way through.
    What a role model Sarfleet Captain!

    Picard tells alien cultures, "I hope our two cultures will one day come to a greater understanding." Janeway threatens them with "the deadliest of force.
    Janeway wasn't that confrontational

    Doesn't need her first officer's permission to blow up her ship
    I'd feel safer if it wasn't up to just one person.. people turn crazy for no reason lol

    Hugs her Vulcan from time to time.
    That's not very nice!

    Has a more manly voice.
    What? Picard's voice is legendary!

    Doesn't have a starship that splits in half when it's in a tight spot.
    Nope she uses Armor..

    Her Security Officer draws his phaser at the first hint of trouble. Picard's Security Officer gets beat up by half the aliens that come aboard.
    Lol i'll give you that! lol

    Hostile aliens surrounding her, half the crew are spies, the nearest help is 75 years away, and she's still kept the ship together.
    Doesn't sound like it.

    Now I only have one thing to say in Picard's favor!

    The Enterprise D was sent 2.7 million light years away from the Alpha quadrant and Picard managed to get everyone home by the end of the episode!

    Absolutely agreed! Doesn't matter who drinks coffee or tea(though Earl Grey is obviously the winning choice), its the fact that what Picard did in 1 episode, took Janeway 172 episodes! End of story.

    Mine is Captain Riker, yes he didn't get his own show but if you follow the books as I do (Titan Series) then I find him to be the best Captain. Wink
