    No Response from the Master Server

    Description of the Problem
    Every time I i try to search for servers i get the message "no Response from the Master Server" i never had this problem before and was wondering if there is a way to fix this problem.

    I have heard that the master server is i fact down I have no clue if game spy will fix it or not for now if you are trying to connect to the UFP rpgx server use the direct connect way by pushing the `/~ key or which ever key bind you have to bring down the Console and type /Connect rpg.ufplanets.com

    Yes the master server is indeed down and has been for a few days now. Nothing is known as to when or if it will be brought back online.
    In the mean time, please see below on how to join the 4 various Elite Force servers we currently have online, by bringing down the console:

    Found this on a RPG-Forum today. Its meant to be a technical fix for this specfic problem which has occured recently. Havn't tried it yet cause I am busy, but hopefully it will work.


    Load your RPG-X, RPG-X2

    Open your Console
    and enter the following command

    /sv_master3 "efmaster.kickchat.com"


    Change from Internet 1 to Internet 3

    This has worked on mine and several other peoples systems.

    Hmm the master server appears to be working for me at the moment without the above revisions. Have a check if it's working for you now, perhaps they finally brought it back online.
