Apparently The Incredibles 2 is meant to be a decent movie.
Potentially up your alley, Three.

Aliens - A rare example of a film sequel that's as good as if not better than it's predecessor, though I imagine a lot of folks will have already seen this. (And if not, why not?!)
Frequency - A Dennis Quaid/Jim Caviezel film from 2000, about a Father and son who are able to talk to each other over a 30 year time gap and change how their personal history played out, with some unexpected consequences.
Clue - Though it didn't make much of an impact when it was first released, it has become something of a cult classic over the years.
The Shawshank Redemption - Another one that was a bit of a failure at the box office, but shone in the home market and massively improved its reputation.
Ice Cold in Alex - A war movie starring John Mills from 1958.
Stalag 17 - Another war movie from 1953 starring William Holden, for which he won an Oscar.
The Dollars Trilogy - A Fistful of Dollars, For a Few Dollars More & The Good, The Bad & The Ugly. I'm not a huge fan of westerns but I like these ones.
The Dirty Harry series - Dirty Harry, Magnum Force, The Enforcer, Sudden Impact & The Dead Pool
Jaws - The original summer blockbuster. (Again if you haven't seen this already, why not?)

Nah, it's not the sort of film for me, doesn't appeal, sorry to disappoint you!
Films that do appeal to me however.
Minority Report - I do feel they tried to fit too much into the time given, however it's still a good film, I do think it would have made a better series, which would have given more time to build up all the plot points they had. Still, worth watching, and in my opinion, the games that tie into this film were good too.
Blade Runner & Blade Runner 2049 - You won't really understand parts of the sequel without seeing the first one, but it can hold up on it's own as well I think. Both are good films, I felt the first had a much darker tone, that the sequel didn't quite manage to capture, hopefully more can be built on this, with less of at gap between them!
Your Name - It's a very colourful animation, with a very interesting story to it, although quite predictable at a point, it is still a fun and touching ride all the way to the conclusion.
Star Trek: First Contact - For me, this was my favourite of the Star Trek films, it seemed to have the right amount of story, mixed with action to it, and captured the appropriate atmosphere.
District 9 - Interesting film, I think this needs a rewatch for me, because I feel I may have missed many parts of it, however I still have some good memories of watching it.
Spirited Away - This was the first anime film I saw, it was very interesting, I can't remember it too well in detail, and it's one I need to rewatch, but I remember it being really good.
Honourable Mentions - Films I enjoyed, but wouldn't recommend
Serenity - Good film, too depressing to recommend.
Jumanji - The original, I liked it at the time as a kid, need to rewatch to know if I'd still like it.
Lion King - It was great when I was a child, is it still great? No idea.
Shaun Of The Dead & Hot Fuzz - Extremely goofy, it was enjoyable, not sure if I'd recommend it though.
Probably more, I mean I have seen more films, I am just struggling to think of names!

So here's my list:
Alien & Aliens: That's it, don't watch any of the others because they get progressively worse. IMHO.
Twelve Angry Men (1957): A film that's so atmospheric you almost feel the New York summer heat.
A Matter of Life and Death (1946): A wonderful film that has some brilliant imagery and features the wonderfully suave David Niven.
First Contact: No matter how many times I watch this film, I always get chills when that helmsman of the defiant says there's another ship coming in and "It's the Enterprise!" *shiver*
The Iron Giant: because I'm a big man baby and cry every single time he says "Superman"
The original Star Wars trilogy. (If you can watch the ones with Sebastian Shaw at the end of Jedi, so much the better)
Raiders of the Lost Ark & The Temple of Doom: Simply for the fact that they're wonderfully paced adventure films that didn't start to get silly until The Last Crusade. We don't talk about Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, ever.
The Thing (1982): a masterpiece of horror, suspense and paranoia with some of the best practical special effects the industry ever produced.
Lost Boys: So many great lines of dialogue.
Honourable mentions:
Sherlock Holmes 1 & 2: I liked Downey's portrayal and the interaction between him and Jude Law fleshed out the characters for me. Bring back Rachel McAdams, damn you!
The Cornetto Trilogy: All three films are love letters to a different genre; Zombie horror, action cop drama and Scifi. Although The World's End is the weakest, it has a soundtrack that reminds me so much of my own drinking days.
The Last Starfighter: because Death Blossom rocked!

Hmmm, I'm not a huge movie watcher so I have a limited selection to chose from. I would have to say that my favourites are the following:
1. Lord of the Rings trilogy - Something about these movies just gives me shivers, especially the cavalry charges
2. Wall-E - The story is great, the characters just strike a chord, the message is wonderful
3. Star Wars IV-VI - This is classic, what else can be said?
4. Raiders of the Lost Ark - I cannot pin down any one particular item about this movie I like, but it pulls it all together
5. Anastasia (Disney Version) - I think this one stems from a fascination with a Readers Digest article about the discovery of the Romanov remains back in the 90's
All we have to decide is what to do with the time that's been given to us.-J.R.R Tolkien
